  1. I may have this wrong, but I think it was CBM who posted in Dec about a health scare. Are you OK CBM? Has anyone heard?

  5. Thanks, I must have missed her. I was just worried , but maybe I'm mistaken and she wasn't the one that posted just before Christmas. Hope all is well with whomever I'm thinking of.

  7. I did post in December about a large mass that doesn't belong to me. Actually, it does belong to me, but I don't want it. The doctor is 99% sure it's a fibroid tumor (which are almost always benign) but somewhat perplexed about why I have it now and why it's growing so fast. Additionally, whilst poking and prodding, xraying, ultrasounding and MIR'ing, she's found a collection of polyps and cysts. She says not to worry, and I'm trying not to, but she also says it's there just too much stuff that doesn't belong there and she thinks it should come out.

    Plus, she says the blood work says I'm not as menopausal as I assumed I was (at 57 years old) and suggested that hubby and I take some precautions. Poor man turned white and decided he would sleep on the couch for a while.

    The doctor has assured me that both biopsies came back normal so it's just figuring out how much surgery I want and when I want it.

    Thank you for asking - I'll try to do better keeping you all posted.

  8. Wonderful news...well, I mean, in terms of it all being benign, that is a wonderful blessing. I was just so worried .
    I had similar surgery a year ago all done laparoscopically and my recovery was very smooth. I wish you all the best.

  10. That's good news that things aren't as bad as they could be CBM. Sending healing energy for now and when you have surgery. Had to burst out laughing at your comments about hubby, I like the sound of your doctor.
