  8. Egypt is my dream. Was suppose to go twice and then the military issued the release that we couldn't travel there. I realize it was about safety concerns, but I have wanted to just feel that sand. To see the Nile. The port in Alexandria. I dream of the library that would be so wonderful. Wish that wonder of the world had survived. So the library will never be seen by me, but the thought of all that ancient library contained...

  10. It's so sad when ancient treasures like the library at Alexandria are lost. I know that government in Egypt tried to save as many historic treasures as it could before building the dam on the Nile, but I'm sure lots got covered with water. Same thing happened recently in China with a dam being built on the Yangtze River.
