  1. Hahahah! I knew I didn't belong here in Oregon..according to the list it's not in the top 25 fattest cities! lol! *:(

  2. Hey, maybe we should move to Miami so we would blend in more! ha!

  3. Well, since Portland is #6 in the fittest, I should definitely move! I am surprised that Louisiana isn't on the fattest list-their food is so fabulous, I gained 20 lbs in the year I lived there!

  4. I'm doing my part. I live in a suburb of the 2nd fattest city. Thankfully, in Oklahoma, our fat to Speedo ratio is MUCH better.
Actually, this week I actually gained 2 pounds. Argh! I did lose an inch in my waist though.

  5. Yay!!!! My city isn't on the fattest list!!! Although, my growing up city of El Paso is. That's no surprise, really..... how many refried beans can a person eat before it catches up with you????

  6. Funny WWM, every time I see your avatar I think of your girls as looking so svelt and trim. I guess they take after Mama.

  7. LOL, TL!!! I think that Willow stays so tiny because she never "walks" anywhere. She either goes at a dead run or she "stomps". Now,Windi - she is a slinker...... very stealthy!

  8. I'm absolutely SHOCKED that all the major cities in TX. are on the Fattest list! (except Austin, which is on the Fittest) ...go figure.
OK, I'm NOT slagging Texas or Texans, honest! (don't hunt me down, please...lol)
Heck, all y'all are my buds (AB, TKN, Catherine, Angel, & the rest) For cuisine, you Texans rule!
    There, better?

  9. Be mighty careful with them words there, Tigger. You know we're armed in Texas...

  10. Is that a threat, W&WM? Cos' I will throw down, girl... * giggle *

  11. WWM, one of my favorite breakfasts is huevos rancheros. You can probably get some really great huevos rancheros in your area, eh?

Posted 1 year ago by Dee #

  12. *frantically pumps iron in order to meet Tigger's threat*

Dee, we can get great huevos rancheros here. But, the best that I have ever had, bar none, are at a truck stop in El Paso!

If it's Mexican food that you want - this is the place! The best is always in the "mom and pop" restaurants rather than the fancy ones with "decor".

  13. I was surprised to see that Milwaukee, WI came in at number 11 for one of the fittest cities. I would have thought Madison, the capital, would have been on there. Didn't really think many Wisconites were that fit :)

  14. PS....Wisconsin is famous for it's beer, brats and cheeses!

  15. Austin may be #17 on the fittest list, but it's the parks that put us there, not the food. (Lisa licks fingers, wipes mouth, tosses out to-go container.)

  16. Would I get in trouble with Texan's if I mention that I like beans in my chili? (sorry)

Posted 1 year ago by Dee #

  17. I think I'm ready to move to Miami!!! my biggest downfall is gravys and dips...everything is better with either gravy or dipped in ranch dressing or sour cream......mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

  18. You won't be in trouble with me, Dee, because I also like beans in chili. Pinto beans! And cornbread.

  19. Thankgoodness Tampa squeaked by as #23 on the fittest.... although they have to be judging by "residents" cause if they included all those tourists in bermuda shorts & black socks that frequent the "all you can eat seafood" places around, we would definitely be on the fattest!!! LOL !!!!
.... hangs head in shame..... that wasn't nice, we need all those tourists.... just don't let 'em drive!!! LOLOLOL

  20. HEY! I like those all you can eat seafood places! ha!

  21. *sneaks in and removes black socks from Mr.WWM's suitcase*

  22. .....I think it's the drawn butter.......

How do you tell a tourist?

Well, if they're not wearing black socks, they're white ones! And if they're not wearing any socks, it looks like they are because they're legs are white from mid-calf down!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOL (Oh, I'm so mean!)

quick, pack this bottle of spray tan for Mr. WWM's feet (just in case!) Just make sure it's "his color" ..... orange feet would be a dead give away!

Posted 1 year ago by AV #

  23. *wonders if the camera suspended from Mr. WWM's neck might be a give-away*

Posted 1 year ago by WillowandWindismom #

  24. *Decides that it will probably be obvious that we are tourists. Tucks two cute white plastic bibs embellished with bright red lobsters into suitcase in anticipation of visiting an all you can eat seafood restaurant*

  25. Speaking of seafood....you guys like shrimp, right? I found this easy recipe at the Asian site I posted earlier. This is so expensive in restaurants and very reasonably priced to make it at home!

  26. Oh, gosh - that sounds soooo good! I have printed the recipe. Thanks, Dee!

  27. Interesting... my home-city is one of the fittest (Milwaukee, WI) but sure didn't seem that was at my last high school reunion! And Mesa-Phoenix is listed as of the fattest... hmmm could be... with with ASU right here and all those college cuties. Oh wait, they are probably outnumbered by the Snow Birds.
