  1. Just wanted to share. We've had an ongoing problem with Mickey trying to assert his alpha male status inside the litter box. We were grateful that he sprayed inside the box only, but still, no matter how much we tried, the seam between top and bottom still leaked and kept things very messy and difficult to control odor.
This litter box has been fabulous. It's deep, no side seam and although I was very worried about this issue, all of my kitties adjusted to this new top entry right away. I've had it for about 3 weeks, and another added benefit has been the major decrease in tracking of litter. I wonder whether the leap to the top helps dislodge some of the litter granules off their paws.

  3. That's a great box. We have five boxes in the little room under the stairs (the people who owned this house before us had actually put a kitty door in). Our big problem is when we need, for whatever reason, to put a box upstairs for some period of time. Even if it's there for just one baby, all of them use it and the sand goes everywhere. This box would really solve that problem. If I was using it for a little kitten, I might have to figure out some way to build a little set of stairs (like a fence stile), but still it would keep sand out of my upstairs.

  4. CBM, baby Athena was the first to jump in no problem. But I suppose if it was a very tiny kitten, yes, you may need a little ladder!
