  1. Hey Instinct!
Sorry your ear was throbbing. Awwww..... Do kids trick or treat where you are? Did any come to your house?

  3. The weather has been beautiful here. A bit cool sometimes and especially at night. When my poor grandkids went out for trick or treat last week in their town, it poured rain so bad both days. So their mom took them to the store and bought them a bunch of candy!

  4. Thanks Linda, Spike was adorable as a kitten and he's adorable as a BIG cat now but very shy. He was pushed out of his chair today by Dara who sat there smugly looking at him. She is such a madam!

  8. You made my brain work BM - I had to convert from Metric - cheated and found a good conversion website. Then I had to remember that Americans call it broth rather than stock.

  13. Hi guys, sorry, been sorting out all my stuff from hospital. Actually that's not true, I just upended my bag and dug out what I needed tonight! The rest can wait til morning. I'll be heading for bed soon, not really tired, but want to avoid getting into a late habit just because I don't have to get up in the morning!

  14. hi MCW :-)

  15. KK - I don't understand why people (including kids) have to steal. Christmas decorations are a big commodity here. I hear all kinds of stories of decorations being stolen.
I know when my car was broken into once, I wanted to hook up a trap to the battery and fry someone. Course I never did it, but I sure wanted to.

  16. My black cat Jimmy the Weasel was out front, but kids were being frightened...Eek!! A REAL BLACK CAT!!!

    Jimmy: (puzzled) Meow!

I put him in the garage just in case. The cat with the cold had snuck out!
