  1. *wipes tears from her eyes*

    Play in peace little Bella. Heaven is a beautiful place with plenty of room for you to play with the other animals there.

    I am so sorry for your loss, AJ. I was praying so hard for little Bella to pull through.

  2. I miss her so much my golden's have been lying where all of her things were. Crying with me when i am. I had to gather her things and put them in a box in the garage because FIP is a very deadly and contagious. So for one month her stuff cannot be in the home. I miss her terribly. Thank you so much for praying and helping me threw this. I need all the help i can get right now.

  7. I am utterly heart broken

  8. You have every right to be heart-broken. So many here have been through the very same thing. It is amazing how quickly our kits make a home in our hearts. It's OK to cry and it's OK to miss her. You mention that your golden is with you. Is that another furry family member? Fur is a wonderful absorber of tears. Our animals seem to know when we need comforting. You can always come here for support. Please do! {{{hugs}}}

  9. AJ, I was devastated to read your posts about poor Bella when I logged in again. I'm so sorry. You'll grieve for your baby for a long while but she couldn't have had a better mama while she was so sick, you gave her all the love and care she could have wished for.

    I hope in time another kitten will find its way into your heart, not to replace Bella but because there is another kitten out there that needs your love and care. But if it's ever time for that, you'll know. I hope you know you can always post here if ever you want to share your memories of little Bella or talk about her. {{{Hugs}}}

  11. {{{AJ}}} I just caught up with this thread. I am soooo sorry. Sweet Bella is in the arms of angels now, and will be waiting for you. Please stick around here and join in on any threads that catch your eye, or start another of your own. Being in the presence of cat lovers who totally understand your grief will help give you strength at this most difficult time.
    BTW, I like the name koojo. I lost both of my kitties within 5 months less than a year ago and my older guy was named Shaddo, because I like to be different too!

  14. I am thankful for all of you. Sorry i have not replied in a long time. Twenty days after bella died my old kitty pepe died of the same virus, this is still hard to read this and reply. I am currently looking for a new kitten because I had a dream where bella brought in a stray to my home and I knew right then and there that bella was ready to let me move on.

  15. Bella knew in the dream that your heart was ready for the love of another. Please keep us posted on how things are going for you.

  17. Bella knows that there are so many kitties that need homes right now. Please keep us informed

  18. Speaking as someone who lost a dear soul to FIP, you are best to not have another cat or kitten for at least six months. I know this sounds like forever, but it is the only way to make sure the disease is gone. It was the hardest six months of my life but now I have a happy and healthy pod of furr-units with little chance of another outbreak.

  19. :( I'm so sorry AJ. That is so sad. You will know when the time is right to let a new kitty in.

  20. gald you came back AJ - check with your vet on timing between cats in this situation... There may be some kind of sterilization that you could do, although most viruses are VERY short lived outside of living cells.... they die within dyas, if not hours.
