Yay, all! I was thrilled to see the Bobster had over 2000 votes this morning when I came in to work. I'm not able to go online over the weekend. Bob thanks everybody for the votes! He's having a bad day, today. His Mama bought herself some flowers from the store the other day, and Bob wants to eat them! I put them on the counter and after spending the day sitting on the floor howling at them yesterday, today, he repeatedly jumped onto the counter (new trick, he's never done that before!) and got in big trouble! Guess I won't be bringing home flowers anymore!

Bob, you bad boy! Further proof that the spirit of my Jerrie lives on in Bob. I never could bring fresh flowers into the house; he would munch them down as fast as he could (and would do anything to get at them). Baby's Breath was his favorite. Well, catnip was his favorite, but that's not a flower. I couldn't even grow live plants. Munch, munch. Just be careful that you don't have any poisonous plants in the house.

The Bob had a better day yesterday. He got to go out in the back yard and walk his Mama around on a leash. Man, what fun! He was hopping around chasing everything, munching on the grass and exploring. I promised him we'll do it again today if it doesn't rain. -

Go Bob! And good for you for going on the leash. My attempt to leash-train the previously mentioned Jerrie was, to put it mildly, a disaster. Made for some very funny stories, but it didn't work. My neighbor used to walk her cat Alex on the leash. He loved it, but he always wanted to come up to my front door to say "Hi" - if she didn't let him he would just lay down and not move.

First time I am on the Bobster's page to vote today and the goll darn thing will not let me vote. I haven't been on it at all today. Will try later or at home tonight. Sheesh!

I think the Bobster will only get on the leash, because I've convinced him, it's actually him walking his Mama, and not the other way around! Also, he wants out so bad, he puts up with it.
And, well, it's not exactly as if we really "walk". I go out in the back yard with him and pull the leash out as far as it goes and let him run around. He was bothered by the leash at first, but nature distracts him too much to really care about it. -
