We are doing well, Lynn. Hubby enjoyed his golf trip last weekend and hasn't been too sore from it this week. All is well with me at work and I'm looking forward to a nice weekend.

Going, KW, had a interview today from a temp service that didn't make me comfortable yesterday. Was more uncomfortable after the "interview". Had to take a test that a Harvard grad would have had trouble passing. 1 hour to do it, things I had to pull from my memory from high school. thank god it works still! Got locked into the room. Company does pharmacuticals (SP) When test was done, no interaction with the woman who gave it, like here is what the postition is about, here's what we are going to ask you to do, tell me something about yourself, nothing, just back through more closed and locked doors and out I went. Was on the phone with Kay right away going no way.
On the other hand, I had an interview Monday with another company, very friendly, and have been called back for a second one on Monday. Keep me in your prayers that day if you will.

We are going to a kanikapila tonight. It is a ukelele jam session/potluck. Bill and I went to one in October and had fun. We know a few people who attend regularly so we are going to this one. No other plans other than a meeting I have Sunday afternoon for a project I'm working on.
Will you and Kay have the weekend of from day care?

Yes we are free from day care this weekend. We will have Dakoda next Saturday night, as it is Valentines day and Nikki's Birthday and she is having a sleepover with friends. Better to have Dakoda here, so the kids don't have to be quiet! So that will be fun. I hope you have fun at the jam session and enjoy. I hope the meeting goes well and you get some rest.

Hi, Everyone! Lynn, I am so happy to see you here and opening the NS!!
Well, it's Friday night! We always used to call that Date Night because we went out to dinner. But, with today's economy we have not been out to dinner since September. But, it's still Date Night and so I try to fix a special dinner. It was great, and best of all was the sweet conversation with my "boyfriend" of 39 years!
We are off to watch a bit of television before bed. We watched the final two episodes last night of John Adams, which we rented from Netflix. What an amazing mini-series! If you have not seen it, I would highly recommend it.
And now, time to maybe see what is going on, get the kittens settled, and off to bed ourselves. I am always so glad to see Friday as it means no 5:00 am alarm.

Evening all, it's been unbearably hot here today, it's5pm and it's 28C(82.4F) inside and 34C(93.2F) outside. I'm cooking the meat for dinner so I can chill it down so we will have a cold dinner. We're off to farewell a friend who is moving to Australia so don't know if I'll be in a fit state to come onto NS later. In case I don't get back everyone have a great evening.

It's 3.51 am AZ time, no activity here for 1 hour, ...the night is most definitely warm in NZ and definitely cold or at least chilly in USA with Old Man Winter very comfortable..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes gratis Moonshado, LV, & Tigger begin....good job everyone & bless you...
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Boxcheck - windows shut for Northern TDKers and flung open for Southern TDKers.
Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Airy and Jim-man. White light,healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Thinking of Cheri during her move, may it all go well.

Noisy but fun Deb. Like an old couple we left early and now Mr MS has fallen asleep in his chair in front of the TV. We are not having a sleep in tomorrow morning but getting started into mowing the lawns as soon as is reasonable, trying to avoid the heat. Today was an absolute scorcher and apparently tomorrow will be hotter. It was 28C(82.4F) inside and 34C(91.4F) outside.

Ouch, sounds like our summers here except ours avg temp is 100F + during May-Aug timeframe.....so I totally understand the getting up early to do anything and then vegging during the afternoon...
