I remember those muscle cramp pains that cripple you! With mine the doctor first said drink more water--so I did. That wasn't my problem either. When he tested my potassium level it was nonexistant and because of digestion issues he made me take liquid--so gross. I hope he finds a med you can work with and soon! Now tell your son to stop trying to participate in the Xgames!! Don't forget to stop in--I MISS YOU!

I'm going to call it a night. My energy level is hitting "low." :)
Sweet dreams, everyone!

You are supposed to be staying warm and resting KW!! Prayers for a quick recovery are headed out! I am off to get the girl--she is at the talent show to write a review. How she is going to do this is one on me. Her best friends and boyfriend are all singing tonight. I told her she couldn't be a good reporter if she was their agent!

Here just for a few minutes while getting ready for work, if I just won the lottery this wouldn't have to happen (getting dressed for work, driving there, yadda yadda yadda.....) and I could just stay home and cuddle in the dark hours and/or stay here on TDK and talk to friends :)

Deb I am on my way to bed. I just had some fun with Deuter and a bag of nip! He is into interior decorating again and before the hubby kills him I decided to nip him--hubby laughs at him and can't stay too mad. He broke Mean Joe Green's leg--as a Steelers fan the fact the cat was near his boys is enough to kill him and the fact he knocked off Joe. Deuter just used up one of those 9 lives! Have a decent night at work.
Good night and Peace to All.

It's 3.39 am AZ time, ...the night is most definitely warm in NZ and definitely cold or at least chilly in USA with Old Man Winter very comfortable..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes gratis Moonshadow, LV, & Tigger begin....good job everyone & bless you...
check - turns fountains off
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Boxcheck - windows shut for Northern TDKers and flung open for Southern TDKers.
Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Airy and Jim-man. White light, healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Prayers for everyone in the bushfire areas in Australia. Prayers for Velvet who is not well and for Rainingwolf's Victor who is ill in hospital.

MS wanders into the NS office(yawn) oh excuse me, I'm tired tonight. We've just had another hot and muggy day with the temperature sitting at 23C(84F) inside most of the day. It's still 26C(79F) inside at almost midnight, sleep is going to be difficult in this heat. The humidity is very tiring. I had to pour water over Shadz until she was wet through today to keep her happy. She loves being wet down and perked right up and shot off and caught a wee skink(lizard type thing). We managed to get it from her unhurt and release it into a more friendly environment than Shadz mouth.

My goodness, that Shadz! If I tried to pour water over Libby or Jasper, they'd scream and run away like I was trying to murder them! Perhaps she has some Bengal in her or something?
Poor little skink, I'm glad you saved it. I found the first (sadly dead) lizard outside I've ever found a few days ago, I hope Libby isn't starting on them. My parents' cat, Sam, brings lizards into them all the time, but they are almost always alive and kicking and both my mum and dad have got quite adept at picking them up and taking them outside (my dad always gets nipped though)...
The thing I REALLY hate is when the tail comes off and starts thrashing around on its own, ooooohhh, talk about being creeped out, I always scream...
-
LOL, I must admit the first time I had a tail come off one when I was handling it certainly freaked me out. Now I make sure I leave their tails alone when holding them. Shadz adores having water gently poured over her, when she was a youngster she would play in the bathroom handbasin chasing the water when we left the tap just running for her. Any water and she would be guddling to her hearts content. Once she was all wet today I brushed her and she looked all slicked back as if she had brylcream on. Quite funny.

LOL, poor kitty, soap bubbles all over the place I bet. How was the weather there today, it was and still is very muggy and sleeping will be difficult again tonight. The frogs below us are making quite a noise and even the ducks seem unsettled tonight. Shadz thankfully is inside, we were having big cuddles a while ago but now she has settled down on the settee. We caught 2 possums in the cage lastnight, Mr MS couldn't believe 2 adults at once, it has never happened in his memory and we're using thew cage trap from his boyhood too. I went out to carry the cage under the house and found 2 of them huddled up together, they were a growling, spitting wild bunch to carry too. I gave them an apple and shut them in the dark for the day.

Morning Deb, hows the head today? Any better. I have a headache from the humid day we've had. Took something for it ages ago and it's had no effect.

So what are you going to do with two possums? I am assuming release them away from the house.

The headache is there but at the back of the head this evening and bearable. We actually had snow last night, lots of wind today and very chilly. Your headache might be the weather pressure system if nothing has helped it.

Possums in NZ are a very nasty pest and also carry diseases like TB so release is not an option. Possums have caused a great deal of damage to our native forests, in some areas almost destroying huge areas of forest, and when we were farming we had to try an eradicate them as they passed on TB to the cattle. My head could be the weather pressure, I have been having a lot of pain from my knees for the last 2 days, nothing like rheumatoid arthritis for helping predict the weather. Just wished they didn't hurt so darn much when doing it though.

Just noticed Jcats going off for the night post, goodnight Jcat sorry I was a bit slow replying tonight.
Time I headed off now and try to sleep.
Goodnight Deb, scritches to the crew when you get home. Hope that snow hasn't made driving difficult. See you later on today.Posted 3 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

Ouch on the arthritis, I have it in my neck. Well that just bites on the possums being carriers of TB. Watching the damage from the tornadoes in Oklahoma today and the fires in Australia, how sad for those who have lost loved ones and 'stuff'.

Our snow didn't stick here in the city, on the mountains it has stayed though. G'night, sleep well, scritches to HRH in the morning when she awakens. Til later on today, ciao.
