Happy Valentine's Day!! I'm at work for the morning...would rather be in bed with the cats.
We got dumped on with snow yesterday...7 inches and heavy. It was horrible getting home from work. Things are better this morning. I hope this isn't the snow you're getting, CM. If it is, plan to stay inside and wait until it passes.Posted 1 year ago by LadyKat of IA #

Good morning, all!
I had a starving Bobby - ALL NIGHT! Stupid new dry food! :(I'm so not awake. Got up at 6:30 and got to work at 7:45. Will work til 1:00 and then rush to a volunteer meeting for the tennis tournament. THe meeting starts at 2, but they want us there at one to prepare for the volunteers to come. It'll probably last til about 5:00 or so and all I want to do is go home and take a nap!

Deb, those kitties have their priorities which usually don't match what we want to do. LOL
GD, I hear you...that's all I want to do as well. What a great day it would be for sleeping in.Posted 1 year ago by LadyKat of IA #

....speaking of naps, I just got up so I can go downstairs and nap on the couch! LOL.... MIL spent the night with us last night after the stone crab dinner, and Hubbs and I stayed up late talking with her. She is such a sweet person, I'm really lucky to have a MIL like her! This is the first V-day without FIL, who passed away last June, so it was very melancoly for her.... I'm really glad we had her stay with us....... This is a luxurious day for me...... house doesn't need cleaning (not much).... fridge is full of yummy leftovers, hubbs is golfing & daughter spent the night out!!! Abby and I are making another pot of coffee, and going to lounge around on the couch, think we'll watch some shows I've recorded...... love these lazy day... don't get them much!!!
-
....reading back posts :( CM - hope you get to nap..... babies - one night, they can sleep right through... the next, they don't sleep a wink! Bobby, you bad boy! you must let your mommie sleep... GD, if it were me, I'd go back to the meow mix..... my Milo, who took pheno every day of his life for 12 yrs ate only meow mix, and did just fine! He loved it!

AV, how nice to have a day of just doing anything you want. Take advantage of it because those days are rare.

Well, I think I'll leave for awhile...I need to be working although there isn't much to do today (won't be many clients calling or in this morning [if they are smart they are all sleeping in]).
I'll catch up with you later.Posted 1 year ago by LadyKat of IA #

The snow has all gone (apart from the patches on my grass out the back), the sun is shining, it's chilly (5 degrees C) but bright blue sky AND IT'S HALF TERM! Yay! Break out the champagne.

She seems a little better. She has been eating and today she went out. She walked all the way over the road into a neighbour's garden. I am still concerned that the news on Monday will be bad, and she is still as thin as a rail, but she doesn't seem as miserable as she was.

Thank you.
She takes her last pill this evening (once I have picked up from the floor, the curtains, out of my hair, from the front of my glasses or wherever else she spits it!)then she has a day off and Monday morning we go to the vet at 10.00 for the results of the needle biopsy they did on her lump.Posted 1 year ago by Pollys_Mum_in_UK_2605 #

GD, Milo never weighed over 11 lbs........ Pheno takes a toll on their little bodies, so I credit MM with helping to keep his weight on! If Bobby gets enough exercise, and you control the portions, he should do well on it..... another option would be to only give him a small amount at night (so he won't howl!)
....prayers for Polly!...

Polly only weighs 3Kg at the moment. If she could keep dried food down I would feed it to her, but it has always made her sick - she loves it, but it doesn't like her.

Hi, Metsa! I'm doing grocery shopping later. Not my favorite, but a necessity.
Sorry to hear about the kitties that are not well. When one of our family is feeling bad, we don't do very well either. Prayers to those that need a little boost today!Posted 1 year ago by LadyKat of IA #

But Scotland played better - in patches. Too many silly errors (especially the forward passes) but Scotland could have won. Thom Evans, Mike Blair and some others made some superb breaks and should have scored tries. If England play as well against Wales I'll be pleased!

England did play better today. They still lost, but they played better. We might have won, but there were 2 sin binnings and Wales scored 11 points during the 2nd sin-binning. We lost by 8 points.
