Hi all this is Stubby Louise, I'm throwing a purrday party for my big brother Cupid, he prefers to be called Spike, he turns 13 today! Come one come all, I have catnip by the bushel, a ton of assorted fish, lots of water, and of course some catnip tea. For the humans attending I have a buffet set up with a complete bar and a Margarita fountain, of course there are all kinds of soft drinks, tea and coffee.

Fred and Cricket get dressed and run to Momma..We need to go to Spike's party momma...open the cathole..Momma gives them some salmon for the party and lets them go. Please be good. Fred and Cricket whoosh through and land at the party. They see Spike and Stubby Louise and run over to give hugs and wish Spike a Happy Birthday. Cricket kisses him on his muzzle. They hand him a present wrapped with all sorts of colors. Inside the box is some nip mice, a new red collar.

Willow and Windi arrive at Spike's 13th birthday party and rush over to nuzzle Spike and Stubby Louise. They have brought Spike their favorite birthday gift, a pinata and in honor of the day, it is a big red heart pinata. Inside are tons of feathered toys, Greenies, nip treats and pipe cleaners. Willow has even remembered to bring a stick to use to swat the pinata.
For Spike's gift they have brought a warm flannel quilt that their mama made and she even sprinkled nip on the batting so that it will smell extra nice. And they have brought Spike a pretty new bowl with hearts and kitties on it to hold his favorite treats.
Not wanting to forget Stubby Louise, the girls have a deep blue collar with almost real diamonds on it.
Willow looks around and asks, "Who wants to take a try at the pinata? But we have to wear blindfolds!"

Bog, Clark and Andy, the tail-less wonder (aka 'Nilla Bean) slide through the cathole. Since meowma isn't feeling well, she came home from work early and now the boys can go to the party! They pack a big box full of fun toys and treats and off they go!

Sophie and Molly run to get their party clothes on. They are ready for a party. Sophie is 14 and knowing that the joints can start to ache a little at this age they bring Spike a heating pad and a basket filled with kittie treats to be shared with all.

Windi looks at Willow and says in dismay and whispers, "I don't think we have enough toys in the pinata!!!! Do you think that mama could send some more?". Then Windi has a brilliant idea! She will gather up lots of her very favorite toys and there will be enough for everyone. She begins to run around and hunt for leaves.......

Oh the party has managed to expand out onto the screen porch and into the sunshine, there are plenty of leaves blowing around. The bird feeder was filled this morning so plenty of birds stopping by for the kitties to watch. Sounds like someone has found Daddy's tape of the Kitty halftime show from Puppybowl 5. I know that has to be my big brother Izzy, says Stubby. Is that my sister Tigger up on top of the pinata trying to tear it open with her claws?

Stubby runs out into the yard to get a bigger stick for Spike to swat the pinata with. She says there are plenty left on the ground from that big ice storm. She finds one to her liking but it is all she can do to drag it back inside to Spike. He says thanks kid and picks it up and is really swatting at Tigger to get her off the pinata, he misses her hits the pinata squarely, it splits open and the contents spill out.

Windi squeals with delight that the birthday boy is the one to break the pinata! Kitties scramble around gathering up the toys and treats that were inside.
Willow suggests that, since they already have the blindfold, that maybe a game of Pin the Tail on the Doggie might be fun!

Happy Birthday, Spike! Sounds like the party is in full swing. The girls are recovering from having lots of noisy people over last night so they are going to stay in today, but they would like to send Spike a new Cat Dancer for his birthday, wrapped in some nice crinkly tissue paper that is so much fun to play with later. They want to remind him to share with Stubby. Have fun, everyone!

Being 13 Spike is ready for a cat nap and thanks all his guest for coming and shows them to their catholes for their trips home. Stubby being a good hostess gives them each a kitty bag full of leftovers and party favors. Izzy being the strong silent type gently helps the girls for the step into the catholes. Tigger the party animal wants to know where everyone is going. After everyone has left Stubby curls up with her doggie Scout for a quick nap before dinner.
