Hi guys - Spike my tabby is missing. We last saw him on Thursday night. Friday he didn't appear and Saturday we went away for a night so are not sure if he came in and ate or if Dara ate his food. We've just arrived home (its Sunday afternoon) and so far no sign of Spike. Please could all of you give him a shout out to come home for dinner soon?

Oh, no, Spike, you naughty boy, you've got your mama terribly worried about you. It's just awful when they disappear, KK, my imagination goes into overdrive. I hope William the Bloody aka Spike comes home to you very, very soon, healthy and happy and no worse for his staying away.

Calling Spike. *series of shrill whistles here* Get your furry butt home!! Don't make me find my whack-bonk stick! *crosses arms while tapping foot* Now, mister!
I hope he comes home soon, KK. Sending white light to help him find his way home. {{{hugs}}}

Spike, come home NOW. Mom is worried and is calling out the TDK troops to hurry your furry butt home. And you know what that means: Whack bonk sticks are being warmed up to beat through the neighborhood to chase you home.

Almost 9pm and no sign of Spike. We cooked bacon and pumped the smell out through the kitchen fan hoping it would bring him home (just ended up with Huddy's Mama on the doorstep ;-) ). So I think we'll have to send out the whack bonk stick patrol.

He's running out of time, Jcat! He's vanished before for a couple of nights but not for some time. Dara is quite upset - she gave us a right earful when we arrived home from Wellington. And she keeps looking around for him.

I am hoping he will wake you up by banging on the front door in an hour or two then, KK. Poor Dara, I bet she is cross with him waltzing off just when she needed some companionship. I am sure he has just taken the chance while you were away to go walkabout for a bit. Perhaps he has a friend round the neighbourhood who gives him treats when he comes to call. If you have checked the roads (always my worst fear when I don't see one of mine for a bit) then I am sure he is fine and has just gone visiting.
But I will keep sending that light, to make certain of it. Please keep us in touch, we are all worried about him now. More {{{Hugs}}}!

Spike, you had your fun, now come home! Mum and Dad are quite worried and need to know you are okay. You know Mum will give you treats and scritches when you get there. Please come home.
KK, he and you are in my prayers that he gets home soon and safely!

I couldn't help but laugh at the image of Huddy's Mama turning up on a doorstep half way across the world!!! The power of bacon...
Now come on Spike, enough adventuring - home, NOW. Hopefully we'll get an update in the next couple of hours when NZ wakes up.

Well no sign of Spike this morning when I left for work - ususally he would be waiting at the top of the stairs, or be asleep on his chair. Getting quite worried now. MrKK is going to have a good look around the neighbourhood today and I may get him to call the SPCA. Keep calling, please!

Can you put up posters with a picture of Spike? Maybe he has been shut inside a shed or garage of a neighbors or is making himself at home in someone's home. I hope MrKK is able to find him today.
Come home, Spike!! *bangs on side of food dish with a spoon*

Spike, this has gone on long enough now and you need to go home immediately! You have everyone very worried and Dara is beside herself.
Come home, Spike!

I know you must be so worried about Spike--my best thoughts and prayers are with you in hopes he returns soon. Could he be trapped anywhere? Any barns or shed, or deep holes anywhere close? Would Dara go to him if he were in trouble?

We live in a seaside neighbourhood so there are houses where people are only there at weekends etc. I doubt he would be trapped in anyone's house as he is quite shy and not particularly nosey (unlike Dara). We have suspected for awhile that someone else might be feeding him though but he always comes home to us. If he doesn't turn up today, miniKK is going to make some posters and put them around the neighbourhood.
