Even though it is technically the next day now, I post when I get the opportunity. Yesterday (Friday) I had an in-depth conversation with Cheri's mom. She spoke with the NY vet, who spoke with the PA vet and consulted on Velvet's new medication regime and the current records were faxed and reviewed. Both concur and agree that she is getting the proper meds now including the antiboitic and the tummy med. Daily subq fluids are now in the mix too. I was instructed on how to use them and given a weeks supply. Velvet fought with me putting her in the carrier which was a great sign! She has put on 2oz since last visit and is getting very fiesty. All signs point to a full recovery and lots of sunshine, smiles, and happy dancing!
All roads now lead to the wonderful reunion party on 2/28! Anyone who can make the party, please drop me an e-mail so I can give you directions on how to get here. I'm so looking forward too this day! While I will miss the girls very much, it will be wonderful to see this whole wild ride come full circle and I would love to share this with all of you as well. We did this amazing thing together litter mates and we should all take a bow! I've always said that while I can stand on my own to acomplish any task, but I stand stronger when I have my loving family standing with me!
