I just read LV's post. What happened? I too have been lurking in the background. I too have been involved for quite a while on this site. I have not posted in about a month and no one missed me except KYKat inquiring about my situation after she was slammed by the ice storm north of me. I pray for all of y'all everyday and wish everyone the best. What has run our Lady Valkerie off? She has been a mainstay here for 2 1/2 years. Food fights, Max Max, all the cute stuff she has gotton her sweet mainey coon boy......We have lost Mui now LV and y'all haven't even missed me. I will continue to lurk and look at the adorable kittens and smile everyday because those little kittens are what have picked me up more than once. LV, I am sorry I won't be seeing pics of Max Max.....wipes tear away and hangs head in shame.

I've didn't say anything because I've seen you on Facebook TF. LV has just decided that with all the changes this isn't the place for her even though she's very welcome to stay. It is her personal decision. I hope to continue writing her and visiting her and Maxmax on multiply.

I can only speak for myself, here, TF AND I only pop in from time to time and RARELY post, cuz I'm always hanging out at the BC Bar and Grill (drinking problem)...but I have always looked forward to your posts and your wit!

Tinafish you were missed but as with the last time you didn't post for a while I waited patiently. We all have "other halves" who check up if we don't post and the alarm wasn't raised. I have also noticed seasonal differences in our posting habits and during the colder months a lot of our USA friends especially in the very cold areas don't post as often.

Can I just say (without hopefully causing any offence) that with so many TDKers now, it's really, really hard to keep track of everybody, especially if they don't religiously post every day? No-one should get offended if the search teams don't get sent out after a few days of non appearance. I often find myself reading posts and thinking "gosh, haven't seen them for a while, nice to hear from then again" - but again, would stress that my life is waaaaay too busy to do a daily rollcall.

I admit though, I assume everyone's so busy that I regard a posting from someone who hasn't posted in a while as a blessing and a bonus and a pleasure to be savoured rather than something I can expect as of right. But I feel terrible to think you were feeling neglected. You are the only person I have ever met who actually comes from the birthplace of Elvis and I love Elvis's voice so how special is that?!!

I am new but I must say as a newbie I want you to always feel welcomed here. This is a place for everyone, no matter what. We all are here because of our common love of the CAT. Our cats brought us together. Our lives may pull and tug us away at times but we should never feel that we aren't welcome here or that no one is missing/thinking of us. There is at least one person out there who is concerned about us. Just because we may not say it, we feel it in our hearts. I do not know what has transpired here in the past but I hope that those of you that have been here a while can lead the way. Please don't let people feel like they don't feel like they aren't welcome and if someone comes back after a long abscence be sure to welcome them back with open paws and a warm hello! The people I have met so far have all seemed genuine and caring and a bit nutty. I would like to think if something happened and I disappeared for a while someone might wonder where MC went. We all know there are bad apples out there whose main purpose is to be a pain in the behind but they will sort themselves out and the true friends will stay. Let's make it a point to not fight and settle our differences peacefully and love one another. Steps down off soapbox and hands off mic........
