  4. Just trying to have fun! How are you today KW? I spent the day cleaning and baking.

  5. Yes, I suppose you are right. It is 3:23 here, but 1:23 on your west coast time?

  6. Hi MerD, Hi KW!

  7. I've been imagining FondaHonda casually dropping "when I had lunch in California yesterday", into her converstion with co-workers tomorrow! "You what?" "Well yes, I flew out for the day to do lunch with some friends".

  8. No, it's 2:23 on the west coast.

  10. Whats a 2-3 hour lunch with friends, just a drop in the hat!

  11. Hi, MCW and Paula. I've not been very productive today. My son is here to do his laundry. :-)

  12. Can he finish mine for me? I am really sick of folding and hanging!
    HI Paula!

  13. KW, as long as YOU are not doing it for him!

Posted 4 years ago by paulajeanne #

  14. My brother actually suggested mailing his home from college, mostly to shock my mother speechless, but half hoping she would agree!

  15. I don't blame you for being tired of doing laundry. Not a fun chore!

PJ: No, I don't do the laundry for him.

  16. Hi Paula! I've had a reasonably constructive day, including bathing Mum and hoovering the equivalent of a small kitten from our downstairs carpets!

  17. How's your mum, MCW?

Posted 4 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  18. I just brushed Molly, she's not longhaired, but had enuff to make a few "hairmice" for her to chase!

  21. Are you off to work, miu?

Posted 4 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  22. Bye Miu, my gang sent you a catster invite. I hope you got it.

Posted 4 years ago by MerD #

  23. She's not too bad thanks KW, beginning to look forward to her 10 days in respite care, but still very daunted about The Future.

  24. When do you leave for Egypt? I believe you said you had been there before. Do you tour when you are there or just relax. I've been watching the reveal of the Tut mummy. I can't spell Tutankamun. Would like to see that, got to see the collection in Seattle, OR, years ago.

  26. MerD: I clicked on your screen name and went to your business website. Is you photo included somewhere--maybe in the group photo of "our team?"

  27. A week on Tuesday Paula, seems like ages yet, but quite a lot to do beforehand! - at least I don't have to worry about work.

Posted 4 years ago by MadcatwomanintheUK #

  28. Is your, ah, "system" pretty much back to normal, enough to handle turisty type food?

Posted 4 years ago by paulajeanne #

  29. NOpe, no pictures of me on the web! I hate having my picture taken.

Posted 4 years ago by MerD #

  30. ..and to answer the rest of your post (sorry!), yes, we have been before, and did a day trip to Cairo to see the sights. We do uusalyy do a few trips, but the emphasis is heavily on relaxation this time around - that said, we're staying further up the red sea coast, very close to the Israeli border, so may do a trip to Eilat and or/Dead Sea depending on cost/timing etc. Me, I just want sunshine, pool and book(s)!
