It's 4.00 pm here, time for afternoon tea. I'll have strong tea (builders' brew) with milk (Skimmed, please) a scone, some raspberry jam and some clotted cream. Thank you.

Hi MC, AZ, SOM, PM, Cheri, and Mesta:
Could I just have a mimosa?

Strong tea with skimmed milk and clotted cream for PM and a scone with raspberry jam. How's Polly today? A mimosa for HM. Will that be all HM?

Hi PM and HM
*doles out goodies to PM and HM*
How are you both? Tea and a scone sounds delish PM. I have never had clotted cream though. I do want to try it one day.
HM, are you getting excited about your new arrival? I am so excited for both of you!!Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

I'm VERY excited CM. I can't wait to hold this baby and spoil him some more - lol.
MC I think just the mimosa will do right now. It can keep me company while I do laundry in the cold.

I am so glad he has found such a loving home. I hope Mavvy and Huddy like him too. You are wonderful HM to give him a home.
I am doing the same thing HM..laundry in the cold..well it's cold and snowing outside at least.:)

Me too CM. I think Mavvy and Huddy will be fine, especially Mavvy - he loves everyone. Thankfully, Huddy always follows Mavvy's lead. They are nice to their cousins when they come over. There may be some contentious days, but I think those will be very few once everybody gets used to each other.
When I brought a little orangey in and fed him (he was wandering around here for days before anybody claimed him) they were nice to him. They even all shared some catnip (well Huddy and the Orangey - Mavvy just says no).
It's not snowing but it's pretty chilly. Still, I'm outside barefoot.

I think I almost froze walking out to the box to get the paper. I need a steaming cup of hot cocoa now. I am convinced the laundry is doubling when I come upstairs!

I won't be making a trek to my mailbox today, that's for sure. It's so chilly here that the cats ran into the closet and hurried up and ran back out. They think they should go in there every time I open that door. My apartment has only one common wall so closets and things tend to get a bit cold when the weather is that way.
Ugh, I still have 4 loads to go.
