  1. Smudge is going for her first teeth cleaning on Friday. I'm not too concerned about that, but she has never been in a cage before. She will be staying the day at the vet's. Is this going to freak her out? Should I take her blanket for her to have something from home?
And this will be Chance's first time alone in the house for a full day. Is there something I should do to prepare him?
When I took my cat Max years ago, I never worried about him (except as he got older the concern was the anethesia effect). I guess I'm just a little concerned about her being there for the day in a strange environment.

  2. A blanket or something might be more comforting to her and if you have Feliway or Calms Forte it might help tooo. The Feliway could be sprayed in the carrying kennel to calm her down. You are concerned because you care for your furry one.

  3. Thanks, Deb. Smudge is such a sweetie; I just don't want to upset her.

  4. ((Smudge)) I think a blanket or something with your smell on it will help like Deb said. Precious Smudge..

  5. Awww, her first dental appointment ~ {{{Smudge}}} A blankie sounds like a good idea to help make her less anxious, maybe one that both she and Chance have used.....
