   Good morning! Happy Friday!

   On the menu from John's Kitchen!!

   Fresh squeezed orange juice and grapefruit juice (both from the Sunshine State), cranberry juice, coffee (all flavors, roasts, and blends) with the the nummies to add to it, lattes, pancakes (take your choice of type), french toast (both stuffed and unstuffed), bacon, ham, sausage (patties and links and gravy), all kinds of omelets, hashbrowns or american fries, muffins, toast, bagels, omelets (any filling), and of course a dozen at least TDK Employment Agency Kittens. Bog and Clark are standing ready at the worm hole to go and visit Aunties and Uncles! Andy is waiting for Auntie HM and Auntie 2b to come so that he can visit with his cousins.

   Also, new on the menu...

   BK Iced Mocha coffee! Yum!
   Enjoy!!!

   Good Morning All! I am taking a "mental health day today". Actually, I have six weeks vacation I have to burn off and I can't seem to get my employer to agree on a time that I can take my time. We have ice everywhere from where all the rain fell yesterday. Seeing I have to drive all over god's green earther I am NOT driving today. I will take a fresh toast, stuffed, some sausage, and cranberry juice please John! Thanks so much!

   I know but that me time is hard to come by. I get it when I go grocery shopping..lol. At this point I am so tired, it doesn't matter.
   I am taking Maddie to gymnastics tomorrow morning so that should be fun and some good mommy and me time. She loves going and we haven't been for a while. At least I can leave the baby with daddy for an hour or so.

   OOH! Gymnastics! That sounds fun! Are we going to have an Olympic gymnist in Maddie?? I always wanted to do gymnastics but I am way too tall and built more like a swimmer than a gymnist! I hope I spelled gymnist right, it looks goofy there on the screen.

    I think Maddie will be too tall MC. The doctor predicts she will be close to 6ft..around 5'11 or so. She's 2 and everyone thinks she is older due to her size. I have very tall relatives. I would love for her to become a gymnast but then I worry about the eating disorders that seem to come with that..I know..only me..lol

    Are you kidding? Those gymnast's are the worst with eating disorders! I would worry too! I read somewhere where they start that throwing up stuff at six nowadays. I don't know about you but when we were kids I was NOT thinking about that when I was six. Times have changed! My relatives were very tall too that's why I am tall! It was always funny when we went to church as a family I was always the tallest one, taller than my brother and my dad!

    Morning all! Terri, happy birthday! CM, I'm chuckling because you just never know how "tall" kids will or won't be...... My mom & dad were 5'4 and 5'8 respectively, and both were taller than my grandpa 5'3! However, grandma was 5'8. I was the tinyest baby (6.2 at birth, and only 17 lbs at 1 year).... I was the tineysy child - when I went to high school, I was 5' and weighed a whopping 85lbs! and yes, I was a gymnist and a cheerleader!......Doctors always said I'd never reach over 5'........ well, I was a LATE bloomer! I started shooting up right after I came to highschool - I can remember the leg cramps (growing pains) at night because I was growing fast! By the time I left high school, I went from the end of the cheerleading squad, to the middle as one of the tallest girls! I think I was about 5'6"..... and I grew through college....by the time I finished college and reached my full height of today, I'm 5'8" tall! Same with my son - he was only 5'3" when he started high school, and I can remember him having a "talk" with me saying he was ok with being a "little guy" (his voice hadn't changed at this point!).... I just told him to wait and see! Today (which is his 21st Birthday!) he is 6'2" and still growing! His cousin is 6'6 (I don't think son will get that big!).... but you just never know! My daughters best friend was 5'3 in 6th grade, and never grew another inch! Gymnastics are a great sport, and give one a lot of confidence... if she grows too tall, oh well, she'll still have the benefits of an atheletic body, and can move into many other sports! Did you know that two of the best girl sports for college scholarships are rowing and golf.... not many girls go for these sports, but there is major scholarship money out there for them. It doesn't matter how tall you are for either of those!.... ok, I'm rambling people, must have woken up on the "chatty" side of the bed today.... blushes.

    Hi AV and Joan...I have been feeding Abbie, changing Abbie two times(she had a nasty diaper)..dressing Maddie now I am making breakfast for me and her..Whew...

    I am 5'7..Wayne is 5'11...I am the shortest sibling on my dad's side and the tallest on my mom's side. I have a sister who is 6'1 and a brother that is 6'5 or taller actually.

    I can't wait till HOB comes in..I thought since 2B kept singing my three sons to HOB, she should rename Rocky to one of the characters in that..lol..Ernie, Chip, Robbie, Uncle Charlie .. :)

    Actually I like Robbie!!!! it sounds like Rocky, which may be something that would make him feel good! Everything is changing for him, so if I were the cat, a familiar "sound" when someone addressed me would make me feel more secure. One of the reasons I named "Abby" was because they were calling her "Lucky" when I adopted her. It sounded similar, and the voice inflection was similar, and she responded nicely to it... I think it make her feel good.

    A quick good morning to all. I've taken Smudge to the vet to have her teeth cleaned. I took her blanket with her to give her a feeling of home. I don't think Chance realized that I was taking her for the whole day.

    Leela was called Lacy when she was at the shelter. We really wanted to rename her, and we too were lucky that it was a similar sounding name that she responded to almost immediately. Oh, and my sister's cat is named Robbie!
    I guess Chance will miss Smudge today, but will like her clean teeth, fresh breath presence later!
    We only had Shaddo's teeth cleaned once, when he was about 9 and needed a tooth pulled. He had a heart murmur so I was aprehensive and only consented when it was really necessary. We called him Mr. Clean Teeth and Fresh Breath for at least a month after! We never had Jiggs teeth done; he had a heart murmur also as well as heart disease, apparently somewhat prevalent in Maine Coons.

    I was thinking about Sterling/Rocky last night in bed and smiling at the thought of how that all worked out :) It was an exciting day.
    Smudge will come home with shiny, white teeth, LK!

    MC, we are in north central WI and also got that crazy storm yesterday/last night...it was thundering and lightening, raining and snowing and sleeting! UGH! Things are really slick this morning!

    Fred was called Zorro at PetSmart when my mom got him and she renamed him Fred after Fred Astaire since he had the longest legs and was a very tall cat..now, he is more like Fred Flinstone belly wise..lol
