  1. Come on GD, remember XBF is MARRIED, go for GYM GUY! I know you want to be nice to XBF but he is an "X" for a reason!

  2. That is true, Molly. I DID break up with him because we didn't want the same thing. I don't want to get back together with him, but I DO want to keep him in my life.
    There's no question it's GG I'm interested in, it just seems a bit complicated at this point. Maybe just because I'm so tired?

  3. Yes, it is because you are tired. It isn't a problem to keep X in life just don't let him keep you from enjoying a good time with GG. We vote for GG. You need a catnap!

  5. GD! Wow! your life is exhausting!!!(As I'm trying to type right now, Abby keep jumping up in my lap, so forgive me if the spelling gets wierd!)..... anyway! Make it clear to XBF that you are just friends, and that you've met someone new. Make it clear to Gym guy that XBF is just a friend now, but needs a friend.... secure men in either situation should be able to handle that! You are super woman right now, I hope CURRENT boss & team appreciate you!!!

  6. We know where you are GD as far as exhaustion. I totally agree with AV, put your paw down with the boys and if they are both adults they should both be ok with it. Good luck, keep us updated!

    Actually, EBL has been extremely nice to me lately and it seems after 11 months or so here, she's finally figured I'm not an idiot.
    Pay still stinks, but right now the job itself is alright.

    Still at the gym, just GG and I. I close at eight but told him to go ahead and finish up and I'll wait, so he's working out in the back.

  12. On Tuesday, MMM, I promise!
    Tomorrow I'll probably run another person to the airport at six or so and then work at the gym from 8 to one and go back to the tournament for the rest of the day.
    Sunday should be less busy with just one match and Monday I think we're just working in the morning. Either way, I'll still have to go to work at 4:30 at the gym.

  14. AGGGRRRAHHHH! 'puter barfed a BSOD before I could finish my post so hope you see this tonight GD! Here's the abbreviated version:

    GD- VERY BUSY NOW + XBF(needy now and just "good friend"...) + Gym Guy (interested AND now intrigued (sp?) by last night...) = GD in charge!!! All men like a challenge ~ it's very good that you're "too busy" now Keep up the intrigue.... they are on the chase and because you're unavailable, you're in control.....

  19. Awwww, thanks, ladies! I had to close up yesterday so I didn't get a chance to read your latest responses. I let GG work out til 8:15 and then we chatted for another 20 minutes before I headed back to the tournament.

    SM, you're right - dating during the tournament (or attempted dating!) doesn't work. Too much stress already.
    KM, if he's not intrigued after all this, he never will be, that's for sure! :)

    Karen, that's sweet of Jeff to miss me here! Tell him I'll be back on a regular basis on Tuesday :)

    I had planned for a couple of months (!) on using the tournament as an excuse to go out with GG. I thought I was pretty smart and had it all figured out! Ha! Not so much!

    I'm glad XBF called yesterday and we had a good chat. I had a rotten day and he listened well. He also didn't seem upset about the night at the tournament. I also told GG about my rotten day and he was very sympathetic, too.

  24. Ohhhh, that life of dating seems eons away considering I will be married 39 years this August! I do think that if a person can keep an ex as a "friend", then consider yourself lucky!

  25. I have on Ex who's as close to being an enemy as you can get. Very ugly situation.
    I don't have any exes other than XBF who are still my friends, but I'm going to try to change that this time around.

Seems like its hard to find any good men out there that actually have decent standards! Yes, do take time to love the two bestest boys in the world Bobby and Mi!
