  5. Ok $360 for the vet (Ouch) Then another $15 for the special litter(I will have to buy more of this in a week) $12 for the e-collar! $10 for new toys(We felt so bad for him!)! But he's home he has managed to almost remove the bandage I just re-bandaged it with the good tape(No It is not silver but, I did think about it!) He's miserable, we felt so bad for him that he had real chicken for dinner, He's locked up in the bathroom for a few days! He has 3 or 4 stitches and has to go back to the vet on Tuesday, he's on antibiotics. The vet said it was a nasty cut! My poor chuckster!!

  6. Poor Chuckster, indeed. Let's see, new toys, real chicken, lots of extra loving...

    Seriously, poor boy has had a rough day. Hope he feels better soon.

  8. Oh, Dorie! I know what you're going thru now ~ Our kitty babies just tear at our heart strings when they have those satellite collars on ~ they hate it so!! Poor Chucky and Dorie!! Don't give in to the urge to remove it tho ~ be strong 'cuz it's for his own good!! {{{{Chucky and Dorie}}}

  9. One other thing. Even though Chucky bites on a regular basis, be sure to disinfect and keep an eye on any punctures Chucky put on you, especially deep ones. I had a friend who almost lost the use of her hand when a cat bite (one of her own) festered and abcessed. Her doctor bill was nearly as much as his vet bill.

    Thanks all for caring!!

  11. Dorie, I think you are amazing for loving that monster boy cat so much, even though he bites the hand that feeds him ALL THE TIME. I am so glad he is going to be all right. Hugs to you and wary headbonks to vampire Chucky!

  12. Chucky had you riding on a rollercoaster today, Dorie. I'm glad it has ended well. I hope you get a peaceful night's sleep tonight! :)

  13. Words that have been said about Chucky through the house!
    Pathetic, Pitiful, Sad, Depressed, He can get the Connecticut stations real well!
    He is so sad looking! last night he disappeared we all were running through the house trying to find him! all of us looked into my oldest sons room but he had climbed on the top of a 7' shelf curled around a sombrero and was sleeping! we finally all went into each room together looking for him. My son's room was the 3rd room we hit and we all laughed when we found him as we all had searched in there but none of us looked up!
