Betty and Wilma put on their best catsuits today to meet their new friends Velvet and Spice. In the wormhole they go and Woooooosh! They are at Cheri's with their Meow-my! "Hi, we are Betty and Wilma, pleased to meet you Cheri, we have an Auntie Cheri, you are nice just like her. May we meet your kits?"

"Yeah, we love new friends, the more kitty friends the better. Mommy says we are kinda shy so it is good for us to get out and meet other kitties. She has met such nice people here and we are meeting such nice kitties! All the food smells yummy too! Wow! Mommy will love the brownies!"

Mom, Mom, can we go PLEASE? Velvet and Spice are in their new apartment and we want to see it.
NNGM will be out for awhile but she is sending the girls through the wormhole to the party and she will back later to pick them up. They are bringing some Boogie Mats for Velvet and Spice (because they are fun to lay on, too) and some chocolate truffles and extra Bailey for Cheri for her housewarming gift. They are dressed in their party best, and are wearing the pins that Shaddo gave them a long time ago, which they wear to every TDK party.

My new nameless kitties are too shy to meet anyone as yet, but send some cat-treats - they don't mind sharing.

I had a great day and a blurry night LOL! Angela came to sleep with me last night so at least she knows the kids are all welcome on meowmy's bed once again. Milo was there too but he's been back in the bed for some time now.

The boys rush through the cat hole to see Auntie Cheri and the girls. Andy (aka Nilla Bean) rushes up to Auntie Velvet and Auntie Spice and gives a big hug.

......Momma gets home from church to two impatient girls......" why are we always late? we've been waiting for you, so we can go to the party!"..... Momma packs's their little back packs, and wraps up a tray of tunafish sandwiches, where she cut the bread with a "fish" cookie cutter..... she puts their water bottles in their bag, then gives pause, and checks Cuddles' bottle to be sure there is ONLY water in it......ok, all is fine..... "be good girls, and I will pick you up in a little while after I finish cleaning duty"......Abby and Cuddles scamper through the wormhole, and greet everyone as they pop into Cheri's new apartment!

Whoosh, bump, bump!! Mac and Grommie shoot thru the wormhole to Cheri's new apartment ~ "We finally found the party, hope we aren't too late to visit with every kit," Mac announces loudly. He has a bouquet of nip flowers and two feather wands for Velvet and Spice. Grommet has a fancy satin hair bow for each of them, too. "Oh, no, have we missed the fun?" Grommet asks. "This is what happens when our meowma starts reading, it's that "Dewey" book! That's why we're late! We couldn't get her to put it down, and I don't think she's even finished with it yet!" she pouts.

Mav, Huddy and Rocky (yes I changed his name back) come through the wormhole with gifts of tuna, catnip and sparkly collars for Velvet and Spice. Rocky is a little shy, but Huddy convinces him that it's ok, he is among friends.

Grommet is so glad to see the boys arrive! "Glad you could make it, too," she purrs. She trots over to Rocky and says, "let me introduce you to Velvet and Spice, this party is in honor of their homecoming." She's looking around, but, doesn't see the girls yet. She has her little gift boxes with the satin hair ribbons, and taking Rocky by the paw they start walking around the room, looking for the girls. They find the shrimp bites and have to stop for a little snack, then continue their quest..... "Strange the girls would leave their party early," Grommet says, "last year they would never have done that. But, maybe Cheri is tired and they are just taking a short break right now. In the meantime, we're here, so let's put our gifts down on the table and have some more snacks. We can play with the feather toys until our hostesses return." To herself she thinks, "I'll bet they're just off primping for the new arrivals...."

Nathaniel and Sophie shyly step out of the wormhole to come meet everyone else. Mommy encourages them to go out and join the fun, and Nathaniel darts forward while Sophie calmly sits back and surveys the room, not quite convinced.

Velvet and Spice should be here any minute. "Cricket takes Sophie's paw and leads her around to be introduced.

Nathaniel dances around the room saying happy hellos to everyone as if he's known them forever. Sophie shyly follows Cricket to greet people, rolling her eyes at her brother, before disappearing to the food table. Mommy laughs and knows that Sophie will be content as long as there is food, especially if she can nab something from the People table.

Mavvy looks at Huddy and says "See? I told you he would be a hit. I'm so glad I convinced little brother to come." He and Huddy split and start working the room, slapping paws, giving hugs and purrs to all. Huddy immediately goes to see what's to snack on, while Mavvy continues to meet and greet everyone he comes into contact with and welcoming new arrivals.
