Hello Littermates,
I finally slept 13 hours! Unfortunately slept through my med time so woke up in pain, but it felt so good to be rested finally that I decided to just pamper myself today and stay in jammies and watch movies. Kitties approved.
The new medicine is working well for Victor! He took several walks down the hall today and said his heart rate stayed steady with no more racing. YAY! Docs told him that if that maintains throughout the rest of the day/night that they may release him tomorrow. I did ask him to be patient, though, and not push the docs into letting him go if they are hesitant. We want to make sure they have it right this time. But as of now, it looks like this time it may be the right combination of drugs to keep this under control.

Oh RW, I'm so happy to hear Victor is improving!! This has to be awful for the both of you though, this crazy roller-coater ride. :( I just wish I could hop down the I-5 corridor to Oregon and be with you guys for a spell. Give your big guy a brotherly {{{hug}}} for me and take some for yourself too!

RW, it's wonderful that things are finally on the turn, much love and many {{{hugs}}} to you and Victor, I hope he continues to get better and is back home with you very soon (but not too soon for his health). Sending loads more of that healing energy and strength to both of you.

Oh Ginger...I just now caught up with this Update and was scared sh**less until I read on and found that the change in meds has been so successful! Whew! We've been praying hard for you both here in our humble Oregon home and are so joyful that Victor is so much better! I agree that this worry is not a good method of weight loss so you PLEASE see to a continued healthy diet as Victor needs you strong and we do too. Truly doing a happy dance for you two!!!! =)

I do hope that Victor continues to improve on the new medication and that you are taking proper care of yourself - he won't want to have to visit you in the hospital! Good luck to both of you.

Ginger, what is the latest on Victor? Is he still continuing to respond to the meds? Will he get to come home to you soon? I certainly hope so, as there is no place like home to recover! Continued prayers coming your way!
