My Bobby became a lap kitty this afternoon!!!
It was cold and I sat by the computer with a blanket on - his blanket! He was walking around but stopped to hop on the computer table as he usually does, for a quick hello.
He discovered that Mama had stolen his blankie and walked onto my lap and started purring. Before I knew it, he was laying in my lap sucking his blankie!
He usually only sucks his blankie in bed, and he never sits in my lap. It was nice :)
I love that story! How sweet! I love your boys too, so cute! Go Bobby!

It was funny - as soon as he spotted his blankie, he started purring. Bobby never purrs unless he's sucking on the blankie!
Ellen was telling me today that she misses Bobby after stopping by to give him his pill every day for 10 days! She's sad because her own kitty is dying - she's 20 years old. Anyway, I told her to keep my key and that she's welcome to visit Bobby any time.
That was sweet of you, GD. I said pretty much the same thing to our neighbor who took care of George while we were in Florida a couple of weeks ago.
Maybe I'll try sitting on the couch with George's favorite blanket tonight and see if he'll sit with me. He'll usually go wherever the purple blankie is.
I had worried Bobby would start running and hiding when she came over since she always came to give him a pill. That didn't happen, though, and I heard many stories of belly rubs, chin scritching etc. I had told her how mellow Bobby is and that she shouldn't have any trouble with him. I'm not sure she believed me, but she sure knows now :)
I feel bad about her kitty. SOmeone threw her out of a car in front of her house in the snow when she was just a tiny kitten, and she's had her ever since :(
I HATE people who are mean to kittens! But I love those happy stories about how people take them in and love them for many years. I am sure Bobby was so sweet to be around for Ellen. 20 is pretty good for a cat. I bet she comes and visits Bobby, too bad Mi doesn't like her!

No no, XBF is a computer expert! My computer is making so much noise, it wakes me up if I leave it running at night! I can't have it break down on me!
As for GG, the ATP supervisor's wife told me after the tournament to go ahead an email her if I'd like tickets for the tournament coming up in Miami in a few weeks. I'm going to do just that and try to get GG to go with me!
Ok, so that is really sweet. Little Baby Bobby got to travel with Mama! But definitely go to Miami! Sounds wonderful, if GG doesn't go I think me and the girls are coming, this snow and cold is TOO MUCH!

GG was here working out last night and I was going to mention it to him. He was the last one here other than the class in the back that someone is renting the space for. I always wait for him to finish, eventhough I'm technically closed. Anyway, I was looking forward to chatting with him when the wife of the guy who teaches the class came up to chat so I didn't get a chance to talk to him about it :(
Bobby loved XBF's house. He has a large screened-in patio where Bobby would spend hours on end basking in the sun, chasing lizards, checking out the pool, eating weeds etc.
Please let Ellen know that we all hope her kitty makes an easy and painless passage over the Bridge and that we feel her sorrow about losing her kitty friend.

Loud computer noises usually mean bad hard drives. Hope that's not the case with you.

I came back Sunday after 4 days, and Bitsy has become a lap cat, too. I think he missed me, but he never stayed with me more than a minute or two. Now he is my new lap kitty. Go figure??????
