The door was left ajar when I went out last night. All the other cats stayed in but Ashe got out and is no where to be found. I feel awful.

Oh, no Chuck!
Please put a shirt of yours outside so she can smell you on it. It worked with Boo - I had set it inside a carrier so she would feel safe.

Oh Chuck, I am so sorry. I agree with the shirt thing. The one time Emma got out and wouldn't come immediately back, I sat on the steps talking softly, next to an open can of catfood and shaking treats. I kept telling her that there was no good catfood outside. She came back home as soon as she got a good whiff.

Prayers & positives Hopes that Ashe come back home. Chuck...Hopper had been outdoors all his 14 yrs. Then when I trapped him,I decided,at his age, that I would keep him inside from then on. He managed to escape about 6 months after being inside. I thought I'd never see him again. But,even the extremely feral guys come back home. He was back within a couple hours.
Come home Ashe!!

I just about had my heart stop...I was making the rounds thru the neighborhood again and so a fuzzy gray lump on the side of the road in front of me....fortunately for me it wasn't my Ashe kitty, but someone elses baby and that is sad also. :(
