I have almost no details yet, but my aunt Nina, my second mom, fell down today and is pretty badly hurt. Mom has her at the ER and they're doing all the usual...MRI, CT scan both. Apparently there's some kind of nerve damage to one of her arms. She fell in her small living room. She can't stand to be touched. I hate to ask in the middle of a Friday evening, but Nina just lost Herman a few months ago and she's very blue. I'd be grateful if anyone has a moment to say a quick prayer for her. I'm so scared and worried.

Thank you all!!!! Here's what they know so far...she's fractured the ball part of her shoulder joint, but they're waiting on a radiologist to read the MRI to say what the soft tissue damage may be. She's a bit more comfortable since she finally got some pain medication. Mom is hanging in there. Mom volunteers at the hospital on the surgical floor so she knows everyone, and that helps a little. That's all I know. Nina already knows you are praying for her. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I believe you guys can make miracles happen.

That's great news the pain meds are working. That will allow her to rest and heal. If your mom volunteers there your Aunt Nina will get good care. We health care workers really take care of our "own". And you are right, people on here do make miracles happen! Hang in there! (Love your kitty on your avatar!)

Sending positive healing energy to your aunt.
I understand perfectly how she feels. I took a 6 point landing down my hallway last week and think I broke a bone in my foot. I'm still wearing a boot (luckily had one from another injury). Fortunately, I don't think I broke anything else, just bruised and battered.Posted 2 years ago by artistabobbi TX 1/17 #
