  1. Good morning, all!
The cafe is open and all sorts of breakfast goodies available as well as various coffees, teas, juices and hot chocolate. I've also got Bobby and Mi if anyone would like some kitty company.

  2. Hi GD!! How are you? Is your schedule back to normal now? Scritches to Bobby and Mi

  3. Hi to GD and CM! Sorry I had to leave abruptly yesterday, GD...had to go get my granddaughter :) I still am smiling at the sight of Bob in nature and Mi looking out the window...lol.... And hope you are feeling better, CM, and that you got some rest last night!

  4. It's back to normal, CM, but I'm still trying to catch up on my rest. For 12 days, I slept 4-5 hours a night and worked 18-19 hours a day. Unfortunately I have a busy weekend where I can't take it too easy :(

I'm going shopping for catfood for the boys - again! - today! I'm tired of it. No more Nutro of any kind as I found the Nutro Natural Choice that used to be good now makes Bobby cry as well as the Nutro Max. We've tried Wellness and both boys hate it. Ellen gave me some Iams to try and Mi likes it, but Bobby doesn't. Arrrrgh! I don't mind spending money on good food for them, but I hate spending $10-15 on a bag of food that they won't eat :(

  5. Hi Katt! Actually we did. We put Abbie in her crib and we took turns getting up. We are both still sick but we handled it well last night.
GD..wow you need to rest sometime. At least you are done with your busy busy time. My kits eat Purina Natural and I can't keep it in their bowl. They love it. It's like 6-7 dollars a bag.

  6. Thanks, Katthays. Mi is living vicariously through his big bro!
CM, today I'm working 8-1 and then meeting a friend to go over some things relating to a tennis league she runs. Tomorrow morning I'm cleaning the dentist's office and in the afternoon meeting a new dog-sitting client. I'm also looking for time to go play tennis with XBF this weekend and time for him to come look at my computer for me.
I'm going to try to rest up some next week, but I have a couple of tennis meetings, 3 days of tennis and a cleaning - yuck! - at the dentist.

  7. PLease can I have a nice cup of tea? I have run out and I can be bothered to go shopping.

    Good morning one and all.

Both Garbo and Hepburn still behind the settee.

  14. Hi to PM and AZ! I am wondering how Gini's little Taco is doing...anyone hear anything last night after I logged off?

Posted 2 years ago by katthays #

  15. I was just wondering that myself, Katt.
    Enjoy your morning, CM!

  16. Hey, a good Saturday morning to all! I sure miss being on the forum like I used to, but I've got to work to "bring home the kitty food." LOL
Speaking of which, I get Purina's Indoor Cat Food for my kitties and they both devour it. So far, no problems with their digestion with it. For their wet food I give them Meow Mix Pouches. They only get about a tablespoon of that at night, but they love it as well.

  17. Good Morning Family...GD, I was going to recommend Purina as well. As you know, I've got lots of different appetites going on around here, thankfully, with just a couple of sensitive systems in the group. It took a loooong time, with lots of trial & error to find a balance that worked for all (indoor & outdoor). I ended up using Purina Cat Chow (Indoor Formula) for all of them. I add supplements to the wet food for the outdoor kits to be sure they get a balanced diet.No complaints from any of them over the kibble. I no longer have any of them, excuse the term, upchucking anymore.
Wish I could stick around, but, Binky has other plans for me,like getting his breakfast, judging by his continued crying behind me.
I hope you all have some sunshine in your day. :)

  18. Poor hungry Binky!
I'm heading for PetsMart after work and I'll check out Purina.

  19. Hi everybody, hope you're all well, or in CM's case, getting better!

I've just brought Mum over to see Bones, first time in 10 days what with our being away last weekend. He's being very naughty with his food, won't eat any special senior stuff like he's meant to. Vet says better to give him illegal food, won't hasten the end of his days by much (they reckon on about 3 months, maybe more if he starts eating more), but at least he'll be comfortable. Mum knew he probably wouldn't be with us much longer - he's getting so thin and tottery - but it's still come as a bit of a shock to hear it said. Bones of course doesn't care, he's just enjoying all the tasty things that he's now finding in his bowl...

  20. Awwwww, poor Bones and your poor mom :(
I say feed him the good stuff he likes. Scritches to the little guy.

Posted 2 years ago by GreatDane #

  21. That's exactly what we thought GD. I'm now spending a fortune on lots of the little premium cat food tins, because of course, he likes them best! Do you have Sheba in the States? That's become a big favourite.

Posted 2 years ago by MadcatwomanintheUK #

  22. I'm not sure if we have Sheba for cats here, but I know we have it for dogs. When I lived in Denmark, I fed my cat Sheba. That was her favorite, too!

  23. Morning again everyone, waves to everyone. I just love being in the middle of starting to clean house and someone calls to ask me to please pick them up @ airport in 2 hours. I know that means that once I leave the house it will be at least 3-4 hrs before I get back because she likes to talk, talk, talk, sigh. Love her as a friend just wish she had asked earlier in the week, oh well such is life.

MCW, its hard when you know that Bones doesn't have a lot of time left. I know it was when Kinker started to go downhill, so gave him whatever he wanted when he wanted it.

Posted 2 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  24. Sheba is in the stores here in the states, the last I saw it was 2 for $1.49 in the local grocery stores. Uusually its about that price for one tin. Mine won't eat it, or if they do its only the one time and then they put their nose up.

Posted 2 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  25. Our 3 have always had a little Sheba (the one in the round, domed tins) to get them in at night. Bones likes that, and also the terrine variety in the square tins. Trouble is, whereas before our 3 wouldn't touch Bones' special food with a bargepole, his bowl has suddenly become very interesting!

Posted 2 years ago by MadcatwomanintheUK #

  26. We have both I believe, only have tried the round, domed tins but they still don't like them much. I wish they did even though its pricey, the smell is better and it looks better to me...don't know how it tastes but appearance wise its better.

Posted 2 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  27. MCW, so sorry to hear about Bones. Unless it irritates his stomach, I would say also to give him whatever he likes.

Posted 2 years ago by LadyKat of IA #

  28. AZ, at least now you have an excuse not to clean ;-)

Posted 2 years ago by GreatDane #

  29. @#*&@~#! Saracens just lost again. Sorry to you non-rugby types, but it's important to me. We are currently 7th in the table, but need to finish in the top 4 if we are to play in Europe next year, and we are running out of time. And next week we have to play Bath - they are playing REALLY well at the moment. Oh, well. Never mind. I'll still enjoy watching them. Pass the food and drink - it's consolation gorging time.

  30. Right, give me a very strong coffee - I have to go shopping. I hate loathe and detest shopping. I know it won't take that long, but I could happily never go to Sainsbury's ever again. Now what do I need? Cereal, kitty litter, tea ..... Snore, snore, snore
