  1. Takes wine and cheese with thanks. Hands out Sainsbury's cold cure to all and sundry.

  2. Thanks PM, we need it. I remember I had a cold when I visited London and ended up in Boots to get some tissue for my nose and it was the best. Nice and big sheets.
Hi SM..I missed you before :)

  3. Hi CM how is everyone doing? I am hoping the last of the viruses are on the way out!

PM what church do you go to?

  4. *pops back in while oven is preheating*

{{{{{CM}}}}}}} That's awful that all y'all are sick! That just leaves Abbie to take care of everyone!

  5. Abbie is the sick one! Maddie is good though. I feel better today, still crappy but better. Wayne feels worse.
*whispers..and of course when a man is sick it's ten times worse*

  6. *nods knowingly, having had many male patients*

Posted 2 years ago by WillowandWindismom #

  7. CM you can have 20 sick kids and they are easier to care for than 1 sick man!

  8. *whispers* Can you say W-H-I-N-E-R?? :-) But they're so sweet you just gotta love 'em!

Posted 2 years ago by WillowandWindismom #

  9. that is so true.
Poor Abbie is just sleeping all day and only waking to feed a little bit. I am trying to suction out the boogies but that just makes her cry.

  10. Let Abbie know of the fun she can have during snot wars!!! That will perk her right up!!!

Posted 2 years ago by SoxsMom #

  11. EEWWWWWWW - baby snot!!!!! Actually, I'd cry too if someone shoved a suction thingie up my nose :-)

  12. It looks like a miniature Aqua Globe, WWM. Sorry everybody is so sick, CM.

  13. i'd like some virtual bbq and homemade chocolate chip cookies...and Sven...

Posted 2 years ago by CSBM #

  14. Oh, I know about the suction thing, having had to use it on babies. But, still I wouldn't like it! Baby snot can be particularly ..... difficult.

  15. Well, company will be here in ten minutes so I'd better head back to the kitchen.

    Have a great evening, everyone!

  16. I had hoped PM was still around. Hard to be in the same place with the time difference!

I told my hubby if I don't get sinus relief soon, I was going to get one of those little baby suckers! He was afraid I was telling him something in a round about way. I shook my head and said my sinuses have nothing to do with conception!

  17. *hands Cheri some brisket and Otis Spunklemeyers (sp) chocolate chip cookies. I'll put in a call to Sven to tell him to get over to your place immediately.

WWM when my nephew was about 2 (he's 34 now) and we'd tell him to "blow" he'd drown your hands. Finally I started using a hand towel on that child. We could never use the suction thing on him when he was an itty bitty baby.

  18. SM have you ever had your sinuses, I don't know what you call it, where they light them up in a dark room and shoot water into them?

Posted 2 years ago by HuddysMama #

  19. ahhh Sveb...please take away my frustrations...

Posted 2 years ago by CSBM #

  20. Yes they have and I had all sort of problems. I have to be careful because I get sinus infections easily. I use good old fashioned steam. Works the best. They wanted to do surgery, so I started looking into it. Seems that everyone that I have met that had sinus surgery still either has problems or has had to have the surgery a second, third, and up to fourth time. I like the steam method!

  21. Were you born with this? I ask because my older (half) sister was born with infected sinuses and she has had problems all her life. She has a lot of pain and I always feel bad for her when she says she just wants to tear the front of face off.

Posted 2 years ago by HuddysMama #

  22. oh my SM..how horrible for you.

Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

  23. btw, Sveb is Sven's identical twin brother...

Posted 2 years ago by CSBM #

  24. Sorry I disappeared--my Dad called! I like his calls!

I have always had sinus problems because of allergies. Very rarely have I had clear sinuses. Pretty funny because apparently I grew accustom to the feeling so it doesn't hurt too much. At times I think my face will explode, but it never has. Daughter said it might improve my looks--smart alec!

  25. Sveb and Sven.... can you please send them both to me!

Posted 2 years ago by AV #

  26. Soxsmom, lol just tell her that allergies and sinus problems are inherited and she is your daughter!!
