Thanks PM, we need it. I remember I had a cold when I visited London and ended up in Boots to get some tissue for my nose and it was the best. Nice and big sheets.

{{{{{CM}}}}}}} That's awful that all y'all are sick! That just leaves Abbie to take care of everyone!

Abbie is the sick one! Maddie is good though. I feel better today, still crappy but better. Wayne feels worse.
*whispers..and of course when a man is sick it's ten times worse*Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

that is so true.
Poor Abbie is just sleeping all day and only waking to feed a little bit. I am trying to suction out the boogies but that just makes her cry.Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

It looks like a miniature Aqua Globe, WWM. Sorry everybody is so sick, CM.

Oh, I know about the suction thing, having had to use it on babies. But, still I wouldn't like it! Baby snot can be particularly ..... difficult.

Well, company will be here in ten minutes so I'd better head back to the kitchen.
Have a great evening, everyone!

I had hoped PM was still around. Hard to be in the same place with the time difference!
I told my hubby if I don't get sinus relief soon, I was going to get one of those little baby suckers! He was afraid I was telling him something in a round about way. I shook my head and said my sinuses have nothing to do with conception!

*hands Cheri some brisket and Otis Spunklemeyers (sp) chocolate chip cookies. I'll put in a call to Sven to tell him to get over to your place immediately.
WWM when my nephew was about 2 (he's 34 now) and we'd tell him to "blow" he'd drown your hands. Finally I started using a hand towel on that child. We could never use the suction thing on him when he was an itty bitty baby.

SM have you ever had your sinuses, I don't know what you call it, where they light them up in a dark room and shoot water into them?

Yes they have and I had all sort of problems. I have to be careful because I get sinus infections easily. I use good old fashioned steam. Works the best. They wanted to do surgery, so I started looking into it. Seems that everyone that I have met that had sinus surgery still either has problems or has had to have the surgery a second, third, and up to fourth time. I like the steam method!

Were you born with this? I ask because my older (half) sister was born with infected sinuses and she has had problems all her life. She has a lot of pain and I always feel bad for her when she says she just wants to tear the front of face off.

Sorry I disappeared--my Dad called! I like his calls!
I have always had sinus problems because of allergies. Very rarely have I had clear sinuses. Pretty funny because apparently I grew accustom to the feeling so it doesn't hurt too much. At times I think my face will explode, but it never has. Daughter said it might improve my looks--smart alec!

Soxsmom, lol just tell her that allergies and sinus problems are inherited and she is your daughter!!
