   I would have done the same thing!

   Actually, when Bobby had his first seizure, I thought he was choking on something and stuck my fingers in his mouth to dislodge whatever may be there. He bit me, too, and both vets I went to told me to go to the ER. I had to take care of Bobby first, though! I ended up getting the wounds cleaned by the doctor, a course of antibiotics and a tetanus shot, but I didn't care!

   I'd have done it too,I have a big lab (now I'm afraid to play ball with him,maybe I'll get him a beach ball)

   Poor dog....I sure would have done the same thing myself. Instinct takes over and you do whatever you need to do. Glad the dog is ok and the owner didn't have to lose both his fingertip and the dog! That was a close call though.
