The kitty girls all had a wonderful time at the sleepover, telling ghostie stories, and laughing and giggling and cuddling! The pink tent with the kitty ears was a HUGE hit with all!
The spa/beauty party was, likewise, a big success! All the girls got massages, 'fluffs and buffs', some got trims, and all got lovely pedicures (or clawdicures?) with their selection of colors; each picked out their personal fur ornament ~ some chose bows, some chose flowers, and some chose feathers! All returned home thru the cat hole to their furramilies happy, relaxed and with their own personal little bag of 'kitty beauty swag samples', compliments of the house.
Kittymom, on the other hand, spent most of yesterday running around the house with a broom and vacuum, chasing the remaining crickets and lizards. Some were alive (until Kittymom got to them), some were deceased (thankfully), and some were just 'partial remains' ('enuf said).... all are gone now! After the last kitty scooted home thru the cat hole, there were litter boxes to be cleaned, washed and stored for the next party, and general clean-up of platters, plates, glasses and party supplies! With so much to do, Kittymom didn't even have a minute left to use the computer!!
Once everything was returned to normal in Mac and Grommie's household last night, Kittymom jumped into bed with her copy of 'Dewey', a nice cup of kaluha and chocolate coffee, Mac and Grommie, and read, and read, and read......
Only a few more chapters, and I'm ready for April's book club discussion ;-)
I stopped reading to catch up on TDK chat because I know I'm close to the "crying" part of Dewey's life story!
MacKenzie and Grommet want to thank ALL their TDK kitty furrends soooo much for making their purrday party so special! They LOVE all their gifts (even the crickets and desert lizards) and hope all their kitty furrends had a wonderful time!
