  1. Hi All! I am not sure what time it is where you are but I thought we could get things going for our friends on the other side of the globe. Hope everyone is well and looking forward to the weekend. I see all the agency "night shift" kitties stretching and yawning and getting ready to start their night shift. Give them a minute to use the litter box and they will be around to light candles on the tables and get the grill going for those of you wanting a bite to eat! Welcome!

  2. (speaking to the agency kitties who are starting to doze off again) I think everyone is still asleep, no one is here yet. Hmmmm, well hopefully someone will show up before MC falls asleep. Or is it that post by GD about Friday the 13th facts? Could it be that everyone was sucked into one big black hole since it is almost Friday the 13th? Only time will tell...............

    * KER-POP! * "Wheww!" (wipes brow) I guess everyone esle DID fall victim to that sucker! (pun intended) How are YOU this Thursday night MC71?

  4. Good thanks! Phew! Worried me & agency kitties were going down the FT13th vortex too! Can't sleep but everyone else seems to be. Out here in Portland on different time has me screwed up. Tomorrow will be worse, heading back to Chicago.....................ick, flying on F13th

  5. Hi MC & Tigger!! It's not quite Friday the 13th on this side of the pond, but, getting close. Tomorrow is my Big brother's birthday. Not too often it falls on a Friday & the 13th together. I'm not really superstitious, but, am careful anyways.

    How are your nights going?

  6. Feral! Yay! TDK'ers are "waking up"! Happy Birthday Big Bro Feral! My B'day is Saturday. How are things where you are?

  7. Aha! You're right down the I-5 corridor from me (Seattle) tonight! I'll bet it's got your internal clock haywire ESPECIALLY after jumping ahead 1hr. last weekend to flying backwards through the time zones. Take care of yourself flying and arriving back in Illinois. For some reason, out here in Seattle I've met more folks that have moved here from Chicago than from almost anywhere else!
    I've wondered why that is?...

    Hey Feral!!!

  8. Could it be the weather perhaps???? Had dinner with KittenWhisperer last nite

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  9. Quiet & oh so boring. Mobile home parks are like that. With the chilly night air,no one wants to go out & visit. Usually, I'd be planted in front of the tv watching my favorite show (Super Natural),but, I don't seem to have the interest tonight.
A friend gave me the book Dewey for my Purrday & I just started it this evening & have already read a third of it. It's so darn good & can't put it down.
I also have your Purrday listed on my calendar for Saturday. How old will you be...I'm not sure if I caught you mentioning your age. And do you have anything special planned?

  10. Up here at the moment it's colder than a witches *** in a brass bra. LOL
I hope to be back on before they kick us out for the night...see ya!

  11. I've never had the pleasure to meet KW in person, but, she is such a wonderful lady that I've gotten to know over the yrs. since TDK started up. Glad you had a great visit & I can't wait for the pics.

  13. I don't believe anyone asked actually. Will be 38 on Saturday. My co-workers were so kind to plan a little party for me Saturday afternoon. This trip has seemed to give me a nasty cold. I can't quit sneezing and blowing my nose. My throat really hurts, a cup of hot tea would be yummy!

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  14. I can personally attest that age 38 is a very good number!! :)

I'm sorry that your traveling & the weather has got you feeling yucky. It's been quite awhile since I've been sick. I really think it's because I know I can't afford the time to be & I have noone to take care of the kits if that were to happen. So I just refuse to get sick.

I know when I did get sick in the past,I always loved the smell of Vicks vapor rub on my nose & hot cocoa with cinnamin & mini marshmallows. I guess some of me never grew up ( I still love mini mallows). :)

    I hope you get to kicking that cold goodbye before your Purrday on Saturday. {{{HUGS}}}

  15. cinnamon hot cocoa and mini-mallow ALWAYS makes me feel good! maybe I can find some in the airport tomorrow. have a 3 hr layover in denver and already read my WHOLE book on the way here. wish i had the next book for the book club, i would start (and maybe finish?) it tomorrow. :D hope 38 is good. 37 was not so good for me as i am a klutz. fell off a ladder and broke my neck and back last march, broke my foot in december! ugh!

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  16. OMG girl!! Well, let's just say you got it allout of your system now. You can only go get better from here. :)

I can be clumsy myself, but, seems to only be during the full moons. Whenever we have them, I stay away from breakables.

  17. Here but for a moment, hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend. Weather here in Tucson, AZ is decent enough, but windy enough to make my allergies go straight to my eyes with the itching and burning. So have taken allergy meds and now going to lie down to hope that it alleviates that problem. Going to Phoenix tomorrow to meet with KW and 2P (Deb) for lunch and don't want red eyes before I get there :) See y'all tomorrow evening!

  23. MS! You're back! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

You've been away for ages, seems like! What news from HRH's household?

Posted 2 years ago by jcat #

  24. MS!!!! Yeah!!!! We missed you :)
    Evening jcat

  25. Hi Jcat,CM, news. . . Mr MS's big fishing competition was a wash out because of the weather, the earthworks below us have huge 'canyons' washed out, because of the weather(again). Shadz has still been catching mice(yummy) and I have 3 monarch caterpillars munching away inside. I've had a nasty cold for several days and have a cough that loves to break out at the most inopportune moment, but I'm getting over it slowly.

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  26. I see b'fast has started, gonna jump over there for some 3am eats and then I am pawsssssssssssssssssitive about my flight!

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  27. Oh, that sounds nasty. Nasty weather, nasty earthworks, nasty cold. The monarch butterflies sound nice. I've seen three flying past my front door in the last week (or perhaps it was the same one, three times!)

Have you heard much from KK? We haven't. I suspect she hasn't been able to stop playing with little Ringo, lol...

Posted 2 years ago by jcat #

  28. MS, so good to see you and hope that danged cold and cough goes away soon. HRH has been earning her keep it seems with catching all the meeces, and your caterpillars growing like they should be inside (when will they emerge and be ready for their release out in the big world?), sorry that the fishing competition was a wash out, and really sorry that they didn't anticipate rains when they did all that earthwork below you (besides damaging your tree when they were doing it)......ok did I say it was good to see you back again, yes we missed you on the NS :D

  29. Morning ladies, meant to put that in the first lengthy entry......its the allergy meds, I promise really it is....

Posted 2 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  30. Boy the colds have gone around TDK, we had them last week MS, all of us but Maddie. Little Abbie was sick and still has a bit of congestion. I hope you feel better soon.
I like the thought of butterflies. :) Now I can't wait for spring!!
