Howdy again! Busy day, so I am checking in from time to time. What do I want in my omelet? Corned beef and cheese! :-)
In my avatar, Hermes is looking up at me, he does that a lot when I come up behind him. If I offer him a finger to sniff, he often 'snorts' because of his sinus troubles, it's so cute!

Taking a quick peek into the cafe and waving frantically to everyone! I am doing some quilting today. Some good friends here just had their first grandbaby arrive. My friend made a quilt top but has asked me to quilt it. Truthfully, I didn't want to because what if I screw it up???? But she doesn't really do the quilting part and to take it to one of the long arm quilters here (No, they don't really have long arms. That's what their professional grade quilting machines are called), would have been very $$$$$$. I'm just trying to take my time, and if need be I will rip out any stitches that I might not be happy with. It's an awfully cute quilt top. Pink and brown, if you can imagine with lots of little baby carriages and stuff.
*takes a deep breath and hits the 'start' button*

Hi all - just want to let you all know, since you are all my friends, if you are considering adding a level to your home, don't do it!!!!!
There's a house close to where I live and they are adding a level. I saw a woman and a small child going into the house. Well, inspections were today and one inspector has to come back tomorrow after they fix/replace a smoke detector. This translates into poor Leela being mad at daddy for putting her in the cage again. Hopefully he will be able to be around so when they leave he can let her out.
By the contractor's standards, they are just about done. However, we are doing our own "punch list" and will decide what we want them to fix/replace/repair, what we will fix ourselves and what we will live with. There's so many little odds and ends, nerve-wracking.

Sorry about your neck Joan - boy can I sympathise. I went back to the Pain Management Clinic today, and they've diagnosed nerve impingement in my neck, which explains the permanent burning ache I've been experiencing since that blasted physio assessment. The upshit of all this is I've had 9, yes, 9!!! - Botox injections across my shoulders and into my neck, and am now on a much higher strength anti-inflammatory to try and calm things down. MCW is becoming a junkie!!

Hi everybody! Thanks for watching the girls at the cafe' today! Hope they were good little hostesses! Maybe they will get a repeat gig! LOL What an awful day. I need to become some sort of junkie or I might go crazy before this week is over. 2Pop I don't know if I can be kind to me when everyone else is tearing me apart. I am a TYPE A personality and I get diarhea and vomiting and headaches when I get stressed.

The girls pack up their backpacks and head home with meow-my. They have had a long shift today. I hope you all had a great day today. Me and the girls are going to try to de-stress. Thank goodness for my TDK family, they help me unwind.
