Danger in using outdated baking mixes

  1. I received this info in an email from a friend, so thought I'd share it. I guess I hadn't realized about spores being able to form in outdated baking mixes, thus causing problems. So, let's all clean out our cupboards!

    This also applies to brownie mixes, bisquick, cake mixes, etc.

  2. Thanks for the reminder KATT. I never thought about it until recently. Now I read the dates on my mixes in the pantry about evey 2 months. Good to know!

  6. This is definitely true according to Snopes-I beleive someone posted on this about 6 months ago so I cleaned out my pantry real fast!
