It's like a zoo at my house! CCM called about 4:30 from Big Spring, which is about 30 - 40 minutes away. I hadn't put the chicken in the oven yet!!! So I stuck it in only I think that I had too many pieces in the baking dish and it just wasn't getting done. Plus, they are very big pieces. PANIC!!!! So of course I kept watching the chicken and worrying that it wasn't getting done. But he just called and they are lost! Somehow they completely went through Midland and he called from Odessa. Whew!!! He will have to back track but it's bought me about 30 extra minutes. EEK!!!!

WWM! Yeah you have an extra 30 minutes. Do you need to split the chicken into two baking pans so that it will cook faster? Keep us posted, I totally missed the post about CCM coming your way. I just found it. What fun! Have a great visit.

WWM.... deep breaths.... your dinner will be fine! CCM and his daughter will be so happy to finally sit down and relax after their drive (and getting lost and all!)... you will all enjoy the time together! Take lots of pics and post tomorrow for us!!..... Cuddles tells Willow her hair looks beautiful, and Abby gives Windi a pep talk about not being too shy, and the "guests" really aren't "scarey", they are only fellow TDKers......

Well, I don't know about the sitting down part! They hit the road at 5:30 this morning. Katie, we discovered, doesn't eat anything green. She didn't even try her salad but hey - she's a freshman! Her eyes lit up when Mr. WWM put a saucer full of Hershey's kisses in front of her, though! And she ate all of her chicken and potatoes and flan. Just nothing green.
Windi hid under the bed the entire time, even though we intercepted CCM before they could ring the doorbell. But Willow came to check them out. I have a few pictures and will put them up tomorrow.
They were here about two hours, maybe 2 1/2. I really wish they would have spent the night. But they have miles to go yet.
