  1. Thanks BC! That really made me smile. Am having a hard time imagining it is spring right now as my local forecast includes SNOW for the weekend! Very nice!

  3. Richard and I both enjoyed seeing these pictures, Thanks BC!
Now we just have to get our minds around the possibility of 8 to 15 inches of snow falling here in the Denver area tomorrow! I usually don't mind the snow but around this time of year I have had enough - this year we need it for our water supply so I can't complain now.

  5. The picture of the cherry blossoms is nice. They're already starting to bloom here in parts of Seattle, even though the nighttime lows are still around 38deg.!

(yeah, I used that word as a verb. When did it change over from a noun anyway?)

  7. Wow, I really enjoyed that. There's a nice poem by Robert Frost in the comment section, #34.

  8. I had to come back and look at these pictures again - we are in a major winter storm here in Colorado - one of the local channels is actually calling it "The Blizzard of 2009" and it is only 2:30 PM and all schools have closed down, all the local governments have sent everyone home and lots of the major highways in and out of the state are shut down. We have maybe 5 inches of snow in our yard with more to accumulate through 6:00AM. Current temperature is 18 with a wind chill of 2-.
It is really pretty, and we need this moisture so I can't complain, and with everyone home I don't need to worry about the family. If anyone remembers, back in March 2003, we had a blizzard here that left so much snow, we were housebound for a week before we could get out of our driveway - my son remembers digging through a 6-foot deep drift just to get to the driveway. At that time we owned a big Chevy van - we couldn't even see it!
