   Kudos to Valerie! She looks great. But it's simply not true that "anybody can achieve this." as she says. How many 48y/o women out there are going to feel horribly and unnecessarily guilted because they cannot achieve a bikini body like hers? I'm pretty sure Valerie's a good person. But what about all those other women her age who'll be passed over by older men with a sudden Peter Pan complex because they don't measure up to a terrible societal yardstick?
   True beauty radiates from within and is unmistakable. It cannot be covered up by diets or Botox.

   Okay, I'll step off my soapbox... ;-)

   You're right Tigger,everyone's made to think that they are just one successful diet and some willpower away from a beautiful body. I went through anorexia as a teenager and I was lucky to make it,I shudder when I see those pictures now.

   I agree with everyone. She looked fine even when she was "fat". I never had an eating disorder but it's so hard for anyone to measure up to the standards that Hollywood or whomever sets. Do I wish I had a bikini body, sure..but it will take a lot of hard work on my part. Hollywood gets personal trainers, personal chefs and airbrushing.....we don't.

   I always liked her too - she was the one everyone wanted their hair to look like! It's good that they stress that not only did she lose weight, she did it the correct and healthy way.
