  1. *sighs* so far I've tried almost every brand of canned wet food - fancy feast (NO), meow mix (NO), Sheba (NO), and many store brands..... I tried the whiskas' pouch (NO) ..... haven't tried tuna juice, but she doesn't like the cat food tuna chunks in gravey, so I don't know..... I'm spending a fortune on food that's NOT BEING EATEN!.... of course, I don't throw it away, I put it on a plate and put it on the back porch..... there's a large stray (I call him Butch) that lurks around outside, who's been eating very well lately !! :(

  2. Sympathies on the picky eater, AV. We get George's food at Costco (it's basically generic Fancy Feast), and it comes in boxes of 36 cans, 12 each of 3 flavors. Well, he apparently doesn't care for the salmon flavor (but he loves actual salmon, go figure). He always walks away from it at first, but he eats it eventually.

Good luck finding something she'll eat.

  5. AV, do you have a Trader Joe's near you? If so, look at their pet food tuna, its about .49 cents and most of mine love it. I usually add a bit of water to it so its a little moister than just from the can. The can should be white with blue writing and say that its pet grade tuna on the top of the can.

  6. MCW, its not about winning or losing (ok, maybe it is!) but it is about having fun!!! I like doing things like that! I wish the USA had more things like your pubs do! Pet grade tuna? Betty and Wilma's ears perked up!

  7. AV, tuna in water / jelly might well be more appealing than tuna in gravy - Bones hates anything in gravy (except my dinner!), but loves jelly. Good luck finding something!

This is MCW signing off for a few days now, Chris and I are off down to Cornwall for the weekend, and the cats are probably going to trash the place in our absence! I should be back on TDK Sunday evening. Toodle pip! :o)

  11. .... will continue to try different brands/flavors..... she's so funny, I'm thinking its' a texture thing..... if only they made that moist soft food ... I can't think of the brand now, but it's the same consistency of her treats, and she's absolutely obsessed with them!.... thing is, I can't just feed her those bacause they're so fattening!..... TENDER VITTLES! that was it..... what happened to that? is there no other brand of soft/moist cat food?.... I have searched high and low!

  12. Happy Cat, do they still make that? OMG, our cats loved Tender Vittles growing up. Those were our treats for them. MCW, please have a safe but fun trip.
