   interesting, i believe in ghosts and wouldn't be surprised if there was a ghost. lydia loves ghost stories.. i'll read this to her and see what she says.

   Despite the hut being 3 hours walk from the visitors centre it probably has a steady stream of overseas trampers and climbers through it as it's in the Mount Cook National Park, where NZ's highest mountain is.

   What a beautiful location the ghost hut is in. I would like to visit there in spite of the ghosts.

   Yes I have ghosts in my house!
   There's my Grandfathers 1st wife who can be seen looking out the upstairs window(My grandfather had a gas station in front of the house she's always looking that way)! I have only seen her twice but my niece who lives next door has seen her several times. There's also my grandmother who can not be seen but smelt she wore Charlie perfume and every now and then there's a whiff of the perfume! Then there's the man we have no idea who he is but everyone who has seen him will tell you of terror. He's the one who scares us the most. Then there's the outside guy... He calls your name and when you look for him he disappears!

    OMG, Dorie...

    What does the horrible man look like? Does he appear often? Don't you get scared living there? Do you see or just hear the outside guy? You are sending chills down my spine. Please tell me more!

    Perhaps your grandother is letting you know she is still around and watching over you. I do not think I would be scared about either of my grandmothers being around. It sounds like she wants you to feel her loving presence. But the others.... brrrrrrrrrr.......... Gosh, you must be brave!
