we had at one point chatted about you taking one of the boys to play with Deuter. I was going to bring you Ben. I have another opportunity to place him, and want to give you first dibs. I'm sure as a TDK team we can figure how to get him to you. He would be the perfect fit as he loves all kitties and everyone, yet likes to play. Mojo and Jerry will be staying in the house.

How sad, MerD. It's always hard to let one of our fur babies go, wether to a new home or to the bridge. Will keep you and your kitties in my thoughts so that you receive healing and consolation for your grief.

I was in Roswell all day. We just got back. I think my heart just broke too MerD. If I had been home Ben would be with me. MerD if it doesn't work please let me know and I will find a way to get Ben. You know I will take any of your cats. I feel heart sick too. MerD we will pray and believe me Ben will never forget your love.

Daughter had a People to People meeting. We left this morning at 9am and walked through the door about 20 minutes ago. Turning on my computer was the first thing I did. I saw the thread and was all excited until I read it all. I feel so bad for MerD. I shouldn't feel bad for myself, but I lost Ben.

hi i don't know whats wrong with him,but now he refuses to come out of the closet he's very loveable but cant seem to stand my other animals he hisses and growls when he thinks they are in the room.if you want to come get him please do or have the other family come get him let me know i dont want him to fell so uncomfortable all the time.

I had to say something to her, here is the email I sent:
Dee,
Sorry, I just got your email, it has been a crazy day. I do hope your decision is not based on my emotions.It could take up to 2 weeks for Ben to forget about here, and get used to your place. The smells and noises and the other animals. Introducing a cat to another takes time and patience.
I cannot get him tonight, but I can tomorrow if you still want me too. I may be that a kitten (kitten season is coming up) would be a better choice for introductions. If you go that route, I can get you a $10 neuter/spay and a free microchip coupon. I was going to send you 2 microchip coupons anyway.
Let me know tomorrow, if you want me to pick him up. I will take a carrier to work with me.

Just got this back:
yes I am aware of how long it takes for adjustments,but he will not come down fromt he top of the closet,I put food in there for him and when I go in to check on him about every 1/2 hr he just stares off into space,this has me worried and yeah I think I will go the kitten route I have quiote a few ferrets coming in this week and I dont want anyone to get hurt.He is adorable and I really wish it would work,but I also kknow that some cats can get attached to one owner and that they will get sick if rehomed.I have unfortunately found that out the hard way,Please I really think he needs to stay with you.For both of your sanities,lol. Let mer know what time to expect you.
