Hi, CM, you're up bright and early, we're all still chatting on the Night Shift thread!
That's no good at all, that you have a headache and that it's snowing in spring. You deserve some warmth and sun, I will try to capture you some in a bubble and bat it through the wormhole from NZ... Hope the headache clears soon.
Happy time zones! I think that covers it as I'm not sure what times we are all at. however I do know that it's half past midnight here and I'm heading off to bed now. just had to say Hi to you all. CM & MC, you have a good day today.

And head-bonks to Jasper and Libby. Oh and to any errant hedgehogs who may be lurking under the furniture. Ooooooo, on second thought head-bonks with a hedgehog could be painful. Ummm, just wave to them please.

LOL @ MS! I have been a bit more assiduous about closing the front door at night recently and soon it will be time for all good little hedgehogs to hibernate for the winter...
Hi, Terri, lovely to see you this morning! How are you today? Mmmm, love that selection at John's kitchen, just give me a moment to decide...
Hi Terri, John, MS, jcat and MC...

Good morning, TDK friends *human and fuzz*
I went to the coolest SCA event I've been to in a long time. This was called A Day at the Castle. We were professionally covered by Dan Salas for Positively Michigan, a website devoted to cool Michigan things. You can see the video at this url:
http://www.positivelymichigan.net/Home_Page.php
But, you have to right-click on his INTRO video and STOP it, or you will get double soundtracks :-( I haven't figured out how to download it yet. He interviewed me, I'm the sweaty one in the blue and red wearing lots of amber, with my name below (lol). My husband appears too, the bald guy in the white shirt, and that's his mandolin you can hear playing toward the beginning of the video.
I also took pix, I put them on my Flicker account. I'm still new at this I didn't edit the photos first, so some are dark and some are sideways :-) but you can see them at this url:
My usual good morning dash! The next two and a half weeks will be very busy. Smudge has never been one to have her belly rubbed. But lately, she's been rolling over and letting me rub her belly and looking quite pleased about it. I am glad because I think it's a good sign, letting her enjoy petting and rubbing more than she used to.

Good Moanday everyone! New boss today so I don't know how much I'll be around. Hubby was away so Leela and I had a girls weekend in. Saturday was horrible because the contractor and about 5 other people showed up to correct stuff that we were not satisfied with when we did the walk thru. There is no privacy, but Leela won't be caged all day anymore and they will not be in our home without the homeowner present. Anyway, I ignored people as best I could and stayed in our "fort" in the living room and Leela stayed close to me. Yesterday was NICE! Got a few things done, then went upstairs to check out our new bed. Yesterday was a foggy, take-a-nap kind of day and Leela joined me.

Morning, all!
CM, I hope you find out what's going on with your arm soon; it's no good to be hurting.
Siobhan, your photos of the SCA event are great, it looks like it was lots of fun.
LK - Yay for belly rubs! George doesn't let me do that, but I keep hoping.
Terri, it's good to see you posting. How are you?
Joan, I'm glad you at least had one nice day this weekend. I hope those darn contractors are gone SOON. We can't even get ours to call us back to figure out when he's going to start on our bathroom, so I have a feeling this project is going to be a big pain.
Happy Monday, all.
Hi all!! Hi Terri! Good to see you filling the morning cafe' with all those goodies!!!

Morning all! Terri is is good to "see" you! I am very tired today. I worked 11 hours on Saturday and cleaned house and planted trees yesterday. A large latte would not go amiss!
CM, I can't believe you got the s-word. We had frost down here and that was discouraging enough. I am ready for spring to show up and stay!!!!!

Hi everyone that has come in. I have been a busy bee..laundry, showers, baths, feedings..now I have to vacuum, dishes and get lunch for Maddie.
I was shocked Kykat! it's only a dusting, but still. We had hail/sleet yesterday. It will get up to 60 here this week which will be nice.
Siobhan, I love the photos of SCA. Such a fun time. I love that castle too!!
okay..off to get the children :)

Morning, all--hope all are doing well today--CM, I know the feeling about the snow--it is snowing here now, and we are supposed to get 7-14 inches of this stuff between today and tomorrow!!! Does anyone realize it's supposed to be spring---first the flooding and now more snow--we still have 3 feet on the ground that probably won't melt til July!! Isn't North Dakota great? Ok, I'll quit whining now--sorry. I would love some buttermilk pancakes with warm maple syrup, and a big frosty glass of milk--and a couple of agency kitties to cuddle and watch the snow with, please. Hope all have a great day, whether it be at work or home.

MM, I hope you are okay. I didn't know you were in ND. Just stay safe and dry if possible!!! ((MM))
Posted 11 months ago by cricketsmama #
Hi MM - how have you been? Perhaps the "it's spring" memo didn't get to it's destination. Hang in there - here's some pancakes, topped with warm maple syrup and a big glass of milk, yum! Agency kitties are jumping over each other to come and play and watch the snow!
Posted 11 months ago by JoanfromNewJersey #
Thank you---ummm--warm pancakes--the best---we are 60 miles west of Fargo, so flooding here is minor compared to there--tho Red River is going down--Yaaayyy!
Joan, I really think they haven't gotten the "memo" yet out here--haha--kitties like watching the snow, as long as they are not out in it.

No snow here in Jersey, but boy did we have a nasty wave of t-storms blast thru last evening, complete with lots of wind and hail. I instinctively told Leela to stay close to us!
