Molly it sounds like everything is falling into place for you! As the others haven mentioned, don't worry about the steroids and weight gain if they're helping. Once you're past this, you can tackle the weight, now isn't the time!

I have to say the past few days have been good. Now today I was rudely awakened by a sharp pain behind my left eye! I have developed a horrible headache and I want to dig my eyeball out with a spoon. It hurts so bad. I was just beginning to think that I "didn't need surgery". Right! Like the steroids were going to be a long term cure-all. The nausea is coming back as well. Darn! :(
