   I forgot to mention earlier that Topaz is at the spa right now! The doctors say she is about seven months old and weighs a little over 8 pounds.

   Topaz..Wow she is a big girl...my Betty was only 4.5 lbs at that age...of course now that she is enjoying the life of luxury she has gained a lot!! Let us know how she is feeling when she returns.. Maybe have an extra snack for her!!

   Topaz loves her food -- one of her nicknames is Goblin, both for her meow and the sounds she makes when she is eating. She's not a fat cat (yet, though once she's fixed I may have to work hard at keeping her active and away from the food dish).

   The vet just called, and she's fine! Recovering well from surgery.

   I think it's great that the vet called. When Molly went in, and I had to go to work, I so wanted to be there just to hold her paw through her ordeal. When I got her home, I got such a chuckle, when she stood up on her haunches and peered down at her belly. I just knew she was thinking, "what the heck? I know I didn't have this bare spot this morning!"

    Yay Topaz! You good girl! She is such a big girl already! My girls went into surgery at 6lbs and now three years later weight 7lbs. They eat like horses and sound like elephants when they run across the hardwood floors. Hmm, don't tell them they are "supposed" to get chubby after surgery or they will want to EAT MORE! LOL
