  1. Hi GD! Here's some yogurt (it will magically turn into whatever flavor you want), and some all-natural applesauce.

  2. Popps in the Cafe to see what's going on...... hi everyone! Beach has been beautiful today! Sun came out, and it looks like we might even get a sunset this evening! yea! Warmer than it's been all week (84) there were more people in the ocean than I've seen all week. Hubbs and I took a nice long bike ride, and then have been reading all day.... wish I had the new TDK book club book, but the ones I brought are easy reads, so I'm relaxing..... will be hard to get back to "reality" Monday, this has thankfully been a restful and much needed break! Hope every is having a good day... sorry for those that are ill or in pain... hope those that are busy can slow down and relax a bit!

  3. There's supposed to be a cold front moving in, AV - I hope it doesn't affect your weather up there!

    Kilroy - yay, thanks!

  6. Arrrrgh, there's noone in the gym and I have two hours to go!
Leaving at eight and going home to watch tennis at nine - yay!

  7. WWM, I know Stella is a very good muse it seems.

  8. If you look closely, they really are different. Lucy Belle has one of those noses that is outlined in black. I think it is the pose.

  9. Okay - how exciting does my evening sound? We are leaving shortly to go to a dinner to honor the Senior Companion Program in our town. *sigh* Mr. WWM is on the Board and says that we have to go. It's at First Presbyterian Church. Do you think that they will have pre-dinner martinis????? And if it is chicken fried steak I am positively going to barf.

  10. Hmmmmm, maybe it's time to come down with something, WWM? I don't think even a pre-dinner martini is going to make your evening any less boring.

Arrrrgh, one of my least favorite gym-goers just came in. WOn't be going home early tonight :(

  11. WWM, I think it is the pose too. Good luck with the dinner and finding something entertaining about it.

If anyone missed the No #1 Ladies Detective Agency on HBO the other night it is coming on again tonight @ 6 pm. I only saw part of it while at my friend's house but couldn't stay awake any longer to watch all of it, the part I saw looked good and I loved the books.

GD, well that bites I know you were looking forward to going home and watching tennis on tv.

  12. It's okay - we close at eight on Fridays so I'll still make it home in time. I was hoping to be out of here a quarter to eight though as noone was here until this jerk walked in.

Still looking forward to tennis - and gummi bears!

  13. WWM, have fun! I don't think the church will be serving martini's with the chicken fried steak! Wow, that sounds so stimulating. GD, sorry you are stuck at the gym but the boys await you at home with gummi bears for tennis time! AD, I wish I could watch, don't get HBO. Bummer! :( Ugh, this nausea is getting to me, been throwing up in the bathroom (literally WWM and I didn't have chicken fried steak!)

  14. fortunately for me, the cold front won't hit till after we get back (we leave tomorrow!)...... laughing a WWM eating a "martini-less chicken fried steak" dinner..... just finished a delious dinner of fresh shrimp, salad and baked potatoe!.....now mixing a martini!!!!! LOL

  15. Arrrrrgh, and he thought he should get to decide the music since he's the only one here. I decided to be nice and let him - I'm now listening to hip-hop!!!!!!!!!! :(

    Poor Molly ((Hugs))

  16. Arg - I think that I developed a bedsore sitting there listening to a heartfelt, but boring none the less, slide presentation at the dinner. But, the good news is it wasn't chicken fried steak. The bad news is that it was fish that had a ton of salt and no freakin' martinis!!!!!

  17. ...pushes a HUGE martini (with a pink umbrella) thru the wormhole to WWM....

Posted 3 years ago by AV #

  18. Oh, thank goodness! *gulps martini in a wild attempt to purge the slide show "What were you doing in 1974" from my mind*

Posted 3 years ago by WillowandWindismom #

  19. hmmmm..... 1974..... you might need another martini.....refills glass.....

Posted 3 years ago by AV #

  20. *whining pitifully* The woman who put the slide show together then made the horrible mistake of walking out amongst these little old people who are Senior Companions asking them where they were and what they were doing in 1974. One woman presented what had to be a dissertation on the pink polyester Easter dress that she made for herself in 1974. It had cap sleeves and a wide waistband and had eyelet lace at the neck. By that time my butter knife was beginning to look like a good tool to end my misery.

    *tosses down second martini*

  21. Well, I think that I'm going to head to bed and put my pillow over my head....

Goodnight, Everyone! And why is there no Night Shift?????

Posted 3 years ago by WillowandWindismom #

  22. .... LOL... I will definitely NOT reveal what I was doing in 1974..... polyester and cap sleves were just a "passing fashion fauxpaux"..... we were all a little "out of it" in those days.... LOLOLOLOLOLO
