  1. CONCATS ANN! I wouldn't mind that job, exercise while I work. Well, maybe I would mind it in the winter when it is snowy/icy or in the summer when it is 100*F with humidity in the summer! I would like the legs it gave me from all the walking tho! (((AC)))

  2. It sure is, Molly, thanks!
It's going to get cold here this coming week, too - into the 40s at night - record-breaking lows, they say. I like it!
When I worked at the tennis center, we didn't have computers, either. I read a lot, did a lot of sudoku, a lot of phone calls and sometimes I'd go out and hit serves or take the ball machine out and bring the phone, just to have something to do.

    Hope you feel better soon!

  3. Back! That was nice, quite breezy so blew away some cobwebs. Met some nice dogs out on walks too, including a beautiful husky with the most amazing blue eyes. Better do some chores now, house is a tip!

  4. MCW, you gave me an idea. Maybe I will go out and walk around the neighborhood. I need to clear out the "cobwebs" in my head! :)

  5. Go for it Molly! You'll feel a lot better for it.

One washload on, washing up done. Not hoovering after it buggered up my neck on Wednesday, Chris can have that job tomorrow! Now settling down to watch Robin Hood.

  6. Hey anyone still here? I am working this afternoon so I can pop in and out to chat. Pika, do you have any vegetarian recipes to share? Hubby and I are saying yes to more vegetarian meals. If you ever watched Coupling, Janes line of being Bi-Vegetarian applies to us.

  8. How was Abby's trip? Did she get to wear her polka dot bikini?

    Posted 3 years ago by mollycat71 #

  9. Welcome home, AV! There'll be other vacations! In case you need to get away again, there's still our meetup with WWM two weeks form today ;-)

  10. I sucessfully managed to "sneak" Abby to the beach and back... She thoroughly enjoyed herself, and "claimed" her spot by the picture window so she could watch the seagulls and see the waves..... coming home, I was a nervous wreck that we were gonna get busted..... check out time was 10am, but the cleaning crew (about 4 of them) kept knocking on the door to see if we were out, apparently they wanted to clean that apt. first..... MIL stood guard in the back bedroom, but they just hung out, right outside our front door talking and waiting for us to leave... I didn't know how I was going get Abby (in carrier) past them..... finally MIL had a brillant idea - she said put the carrier in your arms, then she load a bunch of beach towels and clothes on top, so it looked like I was carrying a bundle of laundry & clothes!......I held my breath, because the only thing that could have ruined our plan was Abby meowing (which she likes to do!).... I shusshed her as best I could, and swallowed hard, and bolted out the door like a bat out of hell......I walked swiftly past them, acting like the bundle was heavy, and I wanted to hurry and get it to the car........ fortunately Abby didn't start talking until I got to the car!..... MIL and I are a great team when we pull off our little schemes! and this was not the first time we snuck Abby in/out right under someone's nose....

....nervously hopes no one at TDK is on a cleaning crew at a time share in Fla......

These are the beautiful sunsets I took from my window for the days we had them... also pics of two cloudy days, I liked the way the clouds looked... I'm going to print the best of these, and try my hand at painting them.... Son and I were able to dabble in the paints a few days during our week, and we were hilarious! I'm signed up for a class with my friend this coming month, but I just wanted to give it a go..... not very good sad to say! LOL

  13. Congrats on the new job Ann (is USPS United States Postal Service? that's my guess).

Dinner time now, just made cottage pie.

Talk to you all again later.

  15. Hey 2p. Happy Purrday tomorrow!!!!!

    Posted 3 years ago by KYKAT 12 23 #

  16. PM, what is cottage pie? Sounds like something that would be good to eat! YAY! OPERATION ABBY was a success!

    Posted 3 years ago by mollycat71 #

  17. Is cottage pie anything like Shepherd's Pie? Regardless, please slip a serving through the wormhole. I am still at work.

    Posted 3 years ago by KYKAT 12 23 #

  18. One's made with cottages, the other with shepherds... ;o)

    Sorry, couldn't resist that!

One is made with beef, the other lamb, but I can never remember which way round it is.

  19. That would be quite good for your intestinal health. Lots of fiber in "cottage" pie if it is made of cottages! I love Shepard's Pie so I am sure it would be great. Slip some to this side of the wormhole too please!

    Posted 3 years ago by mollycat71 #

  20. Oh, I'd like some shepherd's pie, too!

Posted 3 years ago by GreatDane #

  21. No pie here I'm afraid, you'll have to wait for PM, see if she's left you any!

  22. oh MCW, what do you have over by you? anything yummy? My ex was from the UK and I KNOW you have good foods!!!

    Posted 3 years ago by mollycat71 #

  23. *rummages*

Belgian flaked truffles? *passes box around*

Whereabouts in the UK was he from Molly?

Posted 3 years ago by MadcatwomanintheUK #

  24. Ohhh, I need something yummy!
Bobby and I just came back from a half hour excursion to the great outdoors. He kept wandering over to Mr. T's yard to see if Mr. T's Mom would show up with nip again. I told him it's not polite to just invite himself over like that. We saw birds, he climbed the tree again, and we walked out in front of the house and he saw a little dog out for a walk. He sat himself down and just stared at the dog as it walked down the street. He always gets cranky when I pick him up to take him back inside and makes lots of protesting cries. Funny little guy :)

  25. He was from the area around Birmingham, England. He introduced me to many new things. He always laughed at the food that those of us in "the colonies" ate! I told him we were a little more than the colonies now! LOL thanks for the snack. GD, how sweet of Bobby but I am glad you made him keep his manners in check! Wish I could walk with my girls!

    Posted 3 years ago by mollycat71 #

  26. I don't really walk him, so much as put him on a 16 ft leash and follw him around, Molly, but it works. I stop the leash if he's headed up the tree, into the neighbor's yard etc. I pick him up and place him somewhere else, and we walk on :)

Posted 3 years ago by GreatDane #

  27. I would love to see Bobby on the prowl outside!

    Posted 3 years ago by mollycat71 #

  28. I'm sure some of the videos on his Catster page show his outdoor adventures. I'll go check. If not, we'll film him tomorrow. I'll see if I can get him climbing the tree!

Posted 3 years ago by GreatDane #

  29. YAY! I love to watch the Bobby cam! LOL

    Posted 3 years ago by mollycat71 #

  30. Here's one: http://www.catster.com/video/601186/enjoying_saturday_morning
This was when I first started letting him outside and he didn't go far, so he wasn't wearing his leash. As he got more used to it outside, he started running and I had a hard time catching him at times, so I started putting the leash on him.
Milo is outside, too, in this movie. He never goes further than right there to eat grass and only if nothing "scary" is out there.

Bobby has 69 videos on catster if you're ever bored :)
