Peeks into NS office, kittehs are snoring, sprawled out on their kitty beds and chairs. Turn on the lights, put some music on the jukebox, and goes off to fill the kitty food and water bowls. Now I go turn on the fountains and open up the bar. Tonite on the buffet we have Italian foods and pizza. Lasagna, Spaghetti, Tortellini, Ravioli, Breadsticks with garlic butter, pizzas of any flavor, as well as dips for your pizza and breadsticks. There are all sorts of Italian cookies for munching. You can also help yourself to some drinks at the bar (with or without alcohol!). The kittehs are putting red and white checked table cloths on the tables and lighting the candles. Not staying just wanted to say hi. Been a busy day and very tired now. One more feeding before Abbie's bedtime then I am hitting the hay until 3am or around there :) I hope you both have a great night. GD, I am glad you found something that you like to drink. Peeking in, but so tired! Five hours of driving today and four hours at a congressional event. Met lots of great high school kids and talked to them about college options.
It was so late when the event was over that all I could think about was the more than two hour drive home. We packed up all of our materials and headed home. Maybe 1/8th of a mile from home I realized that I had left my purse in San Angelo. ACK!!! Got home and found a message on the answering machine that my purse had been found and rescued by the event organizer. She will FedEx it to me on Monday. ARG!!!
I sure hope that she didn't use the over 300 Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons that are always stuffed in my purse!
If I didn't have my head screwed on.......

LOL!!! This year they didn't even have punch and cookies! I was so frantic when I realized that I had left my purse. And so when we got into the house and found the congressman's voice mail that they had found my purse. Well.... that just called for an immediate martini!
We met some great kids today. Not all interested in the Army, but all interested in serving. Gotta love that!

Our congressman for our district is from Midland and we have known him for years. Really nice man. No, we don't rate. We're just blessed to be from a smaller city where, if you want to, you can become so involved and maybe make a difference. It's much easier to do that in a smaller city.

Good evening all, just checking in for a minute ~ things have been very frantic around here for the last two or three days; should slow down by next Wednesday, I hope.
Mollycat, hope you're feeling as good as possible, under the circumstances. Do you have to go to work with the headaches and stomach trouble, or are you off until you see the doctor on Thursday? -
Heavens yes I have to go to work. Trying to bank all my sick/vacation time if I need it. I had emergency surgery a few years ago and went for three months with NO income! I think I have about six weeks saved up.
