  1. Evening, All! Lynn, I am so glad that your new job is working out and that you are happy there!

We have been off watching the results of DWTS. A little disappointing! And now, off to bed to read a bit. Tomorrow is a no gym day for me and so I get to sleep a bit past 5:00 am!!!! Not too much, but a bit.

    Have a wonderful evening!

  8. Kw, what a beautiful baby you have!! Love the markings! Reminds me of our Angel who went to the bridge. I wish you much love and happiness with your new little one.

Hey AZDeb, thanks and hope the borders are holding for you and your nights are not crazy anymore. I hope you have a restful evening as well. See you on the flip side.

    Mama out.

  9. Oh, Deb - you know that I might go to bed, but sleep is likely not involved!!! But my book group here is reading a book that is an insomniac's dream! It is The Forgotten Man, which is the story (it's like reading an economics book) of what exactly lead up to The Great Depression. It isn't that the book isn't interesting, because it is. But it is reading someone's doctoral thesis. I can usually read two paragraphs and I'm gone. But only for an hour or two. *sigh*

We know that things have been hard and that you have been busy, Lynn. So when we do see you, it is a treat!

  12. WWM, we can always hope that we sleep more than 1-3 hrs at a stretch...ok probably won't happen but we can hope.

  13. LOL, Deb! I have a new routine that works semi-well. At bedtime I take an OTC snake oil sleep med. And generally fall asleep within minutes. But, I wake up two hours later. If it is before 2:00 am, I take one benadryl. If it's after 2:00 am, it's too close to time to get up since my alarm goes off at 5:OO am. It's interrupted sleep, but at least I get a few cat naps in each night.

    It totally sucks, doesn't it????

  14. WWW, sucks pond water!!! Its funny you mention OTC snake oil sleep med, I even have tried the Wally World brand of sleep med (little blue gel looking capsule) because it doesn't leave that drugged out feeling when I wake up a couple of hours later. I too have no problem falling asleep, its the staying asleep thats the problem. Tried the benadryl for sleep aid too, it works half the time if I am dead tired and haven't really slept for a couple of days. Would just love to sleep enough to get to REM so maybe, just maybe I would have enough sleep to feel rested. Used to joke that one could sleep when they were dead, wasn't even serious about it to mean that I NEVER wanted to sleep a few hours every night, geesh!

  15. One funny picture for sure, http://www.friskies.com/Blog/Post/Default.aspx?post=2835 . This is listed under Yahoo's Purina Pet page and its the caption this cat line....

Also these two are beautiful, of course with my preference towards orangies who could pick one over the other.... http://cats.about.com/b/2009/04/07/2008-q3-semi-finalist-mira-and-roxie.htm?r=94

LMAO at the first link that Deb posted above, what a great pic.
