    Just got back from the vet for Boots' post adoption check-up. He pronounced her to be a tortie with a very sweet temperament. She was calm and quiet through the entire exam although her eyes grew quite big when her temperature was taken (how rude!) and when the nasty worming pill went down her throat! She is healthy and healing well from her spay. The vet saw some flea dirt so I'll be dosing her with Frontline. She decided to spend some time under the bed in the spare bedroom after we got home. :)

    {{BOOTS}} trust me, my girls relate very much to how you feel. they always get big eyes when the temp happens! so glad you are healthy, little miss tortie! so happy you are going to be good and healthy. many happy years with KW and Mr. KW

    Awww, she sounds like such a sweet kitty, KW! I hope she got lots of praise, treats and pets after the visit to the v-e-t. She may be a bit sleepy, too, after the worming pill and also if you gave her the Frontline already.

    Oh, KW, so glad the 'vet', oops, I mean 'spa' visit went well. Boots is a perfect name for a poly ~ and fits her beautifully!

    She's just recovering her dignity from her 'spa' treatment ~ under the bed is the best place to do that, you know.... she'll be out soon enough looking for some serious attention from her meowma, never fear ;-)

    More progress I think. After Boots came out from under the bed, I switched the kitties' territories. Furl cautiously explored Boots' space downstairs. Digit came in hissing and looking for the little upstart. :) Digit even hissed at Furl who hissed right back. Boots carefully explored the rest of the house. I gave treats to Digit and Furl in Boots' room and praised them. Digit hissed and growled while she ate them. Furl was fine. I switched them back after an hour. Boots went back under the bed in her room. Poor little thing. I think she's had a big day so no Frontline treatment today. It can wait until tomorrow. :)

    Furl is now sitting calmly outside the door to the downstairs. Digit is sitting on my legs. I guess I'm part of her territory! lol
