Morning Peeps! Coffee is on, water is hot for tea, breakfast foods on the table, we have a special chef today, Luigi, and he will make your omelets, frittats and anything else you can think of. The kittehs are brushed and waiting to be petted. Happy Easter everyone! What's on the agenda for today? I hope CM is resting happily in WV and the girls are well after their long trip.

Morning SOM and Pika. I'll have the same as Pika please, she has great taste. I love Earl Grey tea so much I actually smoked a fish with some several days ago, tastes great too.

Good Morning SOM, Pika, and MS--although technically in some places I am a bit off in my salutation.
I was at the church for prayer vigil from 2am-4am. Seems like age is catching up. I used to be able to do much more during Holy Week.
It is the traditional day of Hot Cross Buns, yet I didn't make any this year. I will have to ask Luigi for one of his. And buttery to boot!

Good morning SM, it will be morning here in about 8 minutes. Hot Cross Buns are traditionally eaten for breakfast on Good Friday so you may be asking Luigi at just the right time.

I used to make them on Thursday night so that they could be in the church in the morning on Friday--just have not had enough time. From the end of Maundy Thursday service and the stripping of the alter, we keep the church open for those praying for the Gethsemane vigil. I did have a great service Thursday though. One of my students showed up. He was suprised, he had never seen the feet washing. I went and took his hand and led him up and washed his feet. He said you are a teacher, you don't wash feet. I told him I am a child of God and I wash feet. I think a huge bond was formed. I think this is a pretty great kid, and I adore his sister--voice of an angel!

On the drive home I made my hubby pull over to see the moon over the field--bet it is even better tonight!
I do like EG but have a passion for Oolong tea. I adore it! I also like jasmine tea, but find I don't drink much, instead I seem to sniff it. I know I am a bizarre twit.

I have the daily headache Pika. My tummy is like a wave with its nausea. I feel like I woke up today with a purpose, now I have one month to plan everything! I am anal retentive about everything being planned and planned again. I have to set up my appt to have my head shaved. I am going to document that and try to figure out how to do one of those photobucket accounts so you can all "go along" with me for the ride! :D

Funny part is his dad is my principal--at least until May then he becomes the Director of Music for the whole district. His dad was the one that gave me my first job here. My mentor in college, her husband gave my boss his first job here. Funny how we all connect. Normally their family goes to another church.

My honey fixed me a very nice omelette with ham and cheese this morning, and a piece of whole grain toast with butter.
Tansey barfed up her entire can of Fancy Feast this morning. I could hear her while I was trying to eat my omelette (ick)
