   Hello TDK Family,
   Just a quick reminder. We are coming up on spring kitten season pretty quickly so please keep your eyes and ears for unexpected litters. I was feeding my feral friends last evening (I am down to 2, Miss Kitty and Traveler) and noticed that I had a new visitor. A black mommy in waiting! Could not touch or approach her but she did come in and eat. Boy did she eat! I have never seen her before. Perhaps she read the memo that I always have food for wayward kits. I hope she has them in my yard so I can watch out for them and take all for a spa day when it is time. I talked to the shelter this morning and asked if they have any immediate needs for kitten season. I supply fleece blankets (I make them from 1 sq yard of fleece-on sale-no hems- just cut them out) for the baby kitties to nest in and to take to their forever homes. Anyway, my shelter needs litter and some blankets. If you guys have a moment call your local shelter and inquire. It only takes a few bucks and it makes a big difference.

   Great reminder puddytat. When you are spring cleaning, do not throw out old blankets and towles as your local shelter can probably use them!

   thank you so much for the reminder. i feed the ferals that come to my backyard, and i saw a pregnant cat but i haven't see her again.

   god i wish to hear more pattering feets around......last summer we had a whole gang who were shy but they'd come around and watch us. i put of some food and water for them. i wish i could get a few to come in.
