Paul, Sharon's husband, is asking for prayers that Sharon has a smooth passing into the afterlife. She is not expected to live through the weekend. Many of you know her from this site -- she is a beautiful soul and she will be missed by the many who love her. May God take her gently to paradise. yes she and her husband are in my prayers. i am so sorry for her husband he must be sick wirh sorrow. i have a question what was sharon's TDK name? i know most people by their TDK name. i pray her passing is peaceful and a happy reuion on the other side. please keep us posted.

OMG...I was just looking on my calendar last night & ready to ask someone if the date was right & we may have missed Sharon's birthday.
I know we all hadn't heard from her in quite some time,but, this is a tragedy to get when you finally hear from someone you've know for awhile.
CatRancher, you don't mention anything...has she been sick for some time?My Heartfelt Prayers to Paul & for Sharon to have a Peaceful passing. This was really painful to read. Another longtime TDKer.

OMG I had no idea!! I knew I hadn't heard from her in awhile, we used to exchange a lot of emails because she has family here. I pray for her peaceful passing. This is horribly sad. Just horrible.

Just about the time I came to TDK, Sharon was parting and we briefly touched in this transition. it was enough to establish a sweet exchange through sharings in email. Sharon is such a sweet, sweet lady and the world is going to be a colder place without her. I can only imagine the pain that Paul must be going through right now. Sending the only strength I have to give and that is my Prayers to both Sharon and Paul. =(

I am mostly lurking nowadays but this thread warrants a posting.... I had the blessing of meeting Sharon and her husband Paul last year and I can honestly say these are two wonderful people. I want to say a most heartfelt prayer for Sharon's peaceful passing into God's hands and send hugs to Paul at this most stressful and painful time for him.

This news is news that I have been expecting, but that breaks my heart. Sharon and I have been emailing for the past year or so. We've talked a lot about the dying process. She had questions and came to me, as a former hospice nurse, for honest answers. I will tell you all this. I have worked in hospice for years. I have lost more precious patients than I could tell you. But I can't remember ever knowing someone who faced their illness, and their death, with the grace and even humor that Sharon has shown. Although I had always hoped to meet her in person, I feel privileged to have known her. She is a very special person and I will remember the lessons that I have learned from Sharon.
I have never said anything here about Sharon's illness because that was her wish. She never wanted any sympathy, but wanted to live to the fullest in the time that she had remaining. My heart and prayers will be with Sharon and I pray for a peaceful passing. And I know that one so good will have a special place waiting for her in heaven.
To Paul, my heartfelt condolences. I know that you are truly losing your soul mate. But she will never be truly gone because love never does die. I wish that I could send you more than words, but it is all that I have. Please give Sharon a hug for me.
I lit a candle. Sharon - you are so, so special.
