Oh, dear - isn't it amazing that we all feel so much grief over the loss of Andy? We were so excited when he came to you, John and Terri. I guess probably we all feel as though we actually knew him. My heart breaks for you today, but I am also rejoicing that Andy just knew so much love. And you showed that again today. What a horrible decision to have to make, but the right one for Andy.
Hugs to you both, and to Bog and Clark. Sweet Andy.

I found this poem and thought it was so sweet. It reminded me of you today, Terri and John.
I Remember
I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep.
I could see that you were crying. You found it hard to sleep.I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear,
"It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here."I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea,
You were thinking of the many times your hands reached down to me.I was with you at the shops today. Your arms were getting sore.
I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.I was with you at my grave today, You tend it with such care.
I want to re-assure you, that I'm not lying there.I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key.
I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said "It's me."You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair.
I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there.It's possible for me to be so near you everyday.
To say to you with certainty, "I never went away."You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew...
in the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you.The day is over... I smile and watch you yawning
and say "Good-night, God bless, I'll see you in the morning."And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide,
I'll rush across to greet you and we'll stand, side by side.I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see.

Terri and John, I am so sorry. Andy's life may not have been long but it was high quality and he knew he was loved. You have given him the last best gift and he is at peace with out friend Chester/Jerry and his assistants Cindy/Renne and Sharon.

Giver of all good gifts, thank you for Andy’s life. Thank you for his adorable little striped face and his ability to chase his foot. Comfort Terri, John, Bog, Clark, and all of us at TDK who will miss his presence in our lives, in person or at a distance. Thank you that this precious little creation of yours, who looked to humans for love and care, found it, and lived a life blessed with comfort and joy.

OMG. Terri and John, I don't even have the words to express how heavy my heart is and how it is breaking for you and Bog and Clark. I am so sorry about little Nilla. Oh Terri & John...I missed this until today. Jeff and I are both very sorry to hear about little Andy. He no doubt lived his finest times with the two of you and helping him to the bridge is such a kind and generous move for you. This is so sad. Sending you all the prayers and TDK white light we can muster.
